I would look into getting some omina from Raw. The added calcium will turn to pectin and protect from cold weather. Now if it got super cold it wouldn't help too much.

super lucky, another 10-15 mph could have taken away everything......

so another dodged bullet. maybe dig in 4 inch pvc every ten feet and buy something that could hang and deflect wind for storms then just lift polls out of pvc cups and put flat caps on them when not in use so level with ground, out of the way ......

even when tarps are up , if needed ...... so those structures are not stressed.... wrap it in 5mil painters tarp. on all four sides in emergency.

if removable post located a couple feet from hoop house was thinking that plastic wrap used in packaging area's at large factories. its like saran wrap and is very thin, clingy, and durable. ive seen two foot rolls that two people hold and wrap up large machinery before shipment.

then just cut it down with razor blade when the storm passes.

Santa Rosa Hydro store forgot to put in the order for the 9 remaining tarps I needed. Even though I put a 6 thousand dollar deposit. Ordered them the 20th and went to pick them up on the 30th. He said they hadn't arrived then after I left he realized he never placed the order so he ordered them. He ordered 103 foot long tarps instead of 130 foot long. So on Monday he will correct it and hopefully in 9 or ten days from Monday they show up. I'm hoping that the 4 beds we planted will start to flower automatically without pulling tarps since they will go from about 20 hours of light down to 13 hours. What do people think !

Fucking huge mistake. What the fuck do you mean he forgot, then ordered the wrong shit! Did he overnight the current order? Fuck man, your whole crop is in jeopardy. I would NEVER trust a clone to go into flower on it's own, hoping for no reveg. IMO, this is fucked. So Fucked......... There is a possibility your entire crop will be ruined. Re-veg will cost your ass...... I would fucking sue his ass. These ass wads think it's ok to treat cannabis people this way, no true.

I scoped them with the 100x scope. Nothing. It's from the cold wet days and not enough oxygen for the roots. I had it happen last year a tiny bit in the first round as well. They got some sun yesterday and look better already.

As far as the tarps go this is my plan. The big garden has 6 beds total. 4 of them have string lights and tarps that cover them so they are vegging . The other two beds are planted with green crack and our starting to flower because of the amount of daylight and the shock. These two beds are the ones he ordered the 103 foot tarps for instead of 130? They are the ones at jeopardy. It's gonna be until tomorrow when the manager is working and can call the company and order 3 of the 130 foot tarps instead of the 103.. It's gonna take about another 10 days after that unless he can overnight them or something. (I'm gonna really try to get them overnighted).
The other garden has 4 of the 7 beds planted and those tarps should be here within a couple days. They are starting to flower and should be fine for a couple days. I have had a couple people say I should be fine for another 2 weeks and that plants won't start to re veg around may 1st. Kinda sketchy since all plants react different but I'm hoping that I get until April 20th until anything re vegs

You could always get some cheap hardware store black plastic and dep with that as a stop gap measure till the other tarps arrive. I definitely wouldn't let them go two weeks, a day or two is usually fine but no more than that. That or keep the lights on them so they keep vegging if they haven't started to flower.

You definitely do NOT want to try to re-veg any plants that have started to flower in my opinion. It fucks them up for the rest of their life cycle when they bounce back and forth between veg and flower. It usually takes them about two weeks to go into 'flower mode' and then two more weeks to go back to veg, so you not only end up loosing about a month of time, but the buds often won't fill in right afterwards and yield and quality will suffer. If you have beds that are flowering I would just start covering them and let them do their thing.

We are gonna have two of the big beds that don't have tarps for another ten days. @Blaze trying to figure out if I should go buy a cheap temporary one.
I feel like they should just continue to flower and be fine but you had me questioning myself.
So we brought them out of their 20 hour light cycle and planted them in the beds with about 13 hours of light 5 days ago. I have had a couple people said they will go into flower and you are usually safe until around may 1st and then u can start to see a re veg. I really don't want to mess this up what do people think.

5 days in, that is your best hope. They are now in flower.........

Like blaze said, 100$ for 100 x 20 plastic from Lowes. Home depot on their website has one that is 100 x 24. Not sure how big you need. Good luck.

The days are getting longer but I think it's weird that they would flower right away then with barely any change in the amount of hours per day they would start to veg. I don't really have many choices except maybe buy a crappy temporary tarp but I would like to avoid that

I had a couple clones from a bud that flipped in the greenhouse last week... theyll come back for sure. Most people put out plants may 1 around here.. got carried away with the little heated greenhouse hahaha.. hell we just had snow this last week.... best wishes too your year.. i think were in for crazy weather.

Man, clones are sometimes 15 year old plants just begging to flower. Get that black plastic up.

If it were seeds, you would be fine. I have had seeds out since March 1st.

I want them to continue to flower. I have talked to a couple people and they all said I will be fine as long as I start covering them before may 1st. My buddy even said he didn't pull tarps all the way until May 12th and they flowered fine and never started to re veg.
