Ok...thats rather unconventional haha....never heard that one b4.

So about 750ppm total?
:)

Okay here is the thing..
After alot of drama with cal mag defs nearly for two years I found that the best spot for me is 340/350 ppm ..
If I go above or down I get or cal or mag def .. :)
Any thing not as accurate and I get probleems .
But when it comes to feeding its much easier to use ec :) . So its very convenient for me infact :)

I think the base ppm with the added calcium is too high.

And it is building up at the roots and locking out pk.

More nitrogen would agrivate the problem. Need medium dose of balanced nutes is my suggestion.

I am sorry I am not familiar with your nutes. But full line I guess means many parts.

When I see this sort of burn I lightly leach with maybe a half gallon to a gallon of fresh unphed water until I like the runoff and then put back in a lower dose of a complete grow nute to restore balance.

They suggest on the back of the bottle to raise the base water ec with 0.3 if am on coco or hydro .
And I dont go more than 80 ml for each 250 liter of water
If you check the scheduale you will see that they suggest more .
Maybe its good idea to give adose of pk then see.

Your first problem is that youre following the back of the bottle.... and your runoff is a point high

Yes but raise base water with what ec?

There has to be a recommended range.

.3 is my target ec total for source water. After .5 I have major issues in any medium.

No thats not the thing in here .
I know what you mean . But this feeding is made for all kind of substrate and soiless medium so thier base feeding dosent contain enough cal\mag .
Thats why you raise your water ec by 0.3 calgel
So I start with 0.4 ec 210ppm water then add cal gel till its 0.7 ec 350 ppm

Then add base feeding . Which takes me to 1.3 exactly

It's not only the concentration but what is in it.

I am sure you don't need anywhere near that much calcium. And when a plant has too much the damage you show is usually what happens. It locks out all the other metals like mag phosphorous and iron too. The elements are actually bunched up and clogging the roots to add a visual to this explanation.

Following the directions on a plant nute is not usually going to work well.

I watch them. Listen to what their leaves tell me and feed them what they need individually from 1 bottle.
