Are you ready to risk your life in a 39$ boat? Lol

Seriously. They float on anything out here. Lol.

The woman said she knows what she is doing.

The kayak is for me. But I learned in Colorado. You must think we have white water here. It's flat and winds through the forest real slow like.

Most people just inner tube float.

I get so bored with the group I tend to paddle up a mile or so and get some actual excercise in. They all just float as slowly as possible.

Might be more like I like up north. But I am a bit more hurt now than when I lived in CO.

Just watch out for Branches and logs.. they will pop that thing with little to no effort.. I know this to be true personal experience with something similar and cheap as that boat :(

Someone ended up walking 1/2 a mile down river..

I have warned her quite a bit. She said she would walk to the road and call for help. We are only taking that local. The rivers meet and fork all round our little town. We can tube for hours and still be nearby because of all the twists and turns.

There is a spot where you can put in a tube on one side of a hill and float 20 minutes around all these turns and end up in the other side of the hill.

But I will pass along your very fair warning. She will inherit the kayak I just bought soon enough I'm pretty sure.

Think I'd stick with the kayak, at least that won't pop. All you have to worry about is staying upright!

Like I said my woman has been thoroughly warned. But you guys are right.

Then again I know so many people that have successfully used the cheapest of pool rafts.

We will make sure she goes where it's deep. I'm checking out the local run tomorrow before I take her there.

Hell Yeah!

Well not that you are or are not black the floating thing. :-)

My favorite kayak day here is in October with full fall colors and it suddenly snows.

But I have to admit. I ain't old but I don't have the resistance to handle Michigan weather like I had 10 to 15 years ago in the mountains.

It's cold and wet here a lot. I miss bluebird powder days.

And a fine day it will be. NOW GET SOME PACKING DONE. lol. Have a good day sir.
Whoah!!! Can i at least drink my coffee first.....? I still gotta fill up my bowl and eat my usual 6 eggs
