Yes, tomatoes and peppers, it's been a big issue for me in the past with my soil cultivation. At first I was messing with adding Ca, via gypsum mostly, but I even tried a few applications of 6% Ca (the BioLink product). Nothing, no reversal, not even reduction of the occurrence. I messed with getting the watering as even as I possibly could, it was getting absolutely ridiculous.
Then one day I decided to try the Sea-90, since I already had my sprayer tank going, went ahead and used it on the veggies.
And ALL BER stopped, dead in its tracks. I don't know exactly why, but it did the trick. And keep in mind my soil is Ca-poor, very tight, heavy clay, so additions of CaSO4 are called for.
And the effects lasted. I only have to do a couple of applications per season. I go through a lot more in the AP system due to the volume of the system, but everything responds beautifully. Since it is an aquatic system I don't bother using it as a foliar, it goes right into the main pond.
Have I mentioned I have bluegill that are breeding size now, along with the crawdaddies that are breeding? :) Estoy muy orgulloso.
