I thought the big deal with MG is not that it can burn or kill your plant but the people that make it use chem in there mix that is toxic ish so people growing (top shelf ) stay a way from using it???

Whether it b organic nutes/synthetic nutes, yur plants dnt kno the difference..so the nutes that come n mg from bag,if u kno how to utilize them, will wrk.its more a noob or someone unexperienced with npk that falls n trouble.if u can read it says on bag "time re-leased"...so with every nute with every watering u r diluting it..if u can control this, yur good.if u think more nutes = more buds.....well........u fall victim to the mg challenge

I didn't think the comment was directed at anyone personally.

Sounds like you're fine though. ;-)

its the time release nute in them

Just too much at once will either burn the leaves or clog the roots. Same difference really.

And all the nute companies get the chemicals to make nutes from the same huge conglomerates.

I suspect the organic inputs can come from unethical sources as well.

the agricultural industry, fishing and slurry and the pharma industries are connected. The waste from each can become products for the other.

Miracle Grow is part of the Scott's fertilizer conglomerate. They have partnered recently with a huge company with a bad reputation for its involvement with GMO seeds, Monsanto.

We live in a world with an international market and Monsanto has partnered with Bayer. A huge pharmaceutical company.

But if you are going to play activist. You will have to boycott all of these companies too.

I hope you are not hungry. ;-)

Sorry for the derail but I thought it was important to put that out there.

Now back to some bad ass growing plants in MG products.

I bet the results are great!

Good luck avoiding all that. Still doesn't mean you have to give up though. There are ways to cut back like making your own compost or worm castings, growing your own food and or not eating too much pre-packaged shit. I have read about monsanto screwing people with their genetically modified shit so I would rather not use their stuff. If it's all I got, or it's the best so be it. Every little bit counts, and I'm sure they don't like us boycotting them, so it's our little way of sticking it back to them. Vote with your wallet right.
