probably about a week
honestly though
pollen dosnt travel as much as "they" claim
I had my last male literally on top of the female and she only has maybe 20 seeds in her

But females really aint good and ready till week 4 thru 7,,,
So in reality you would want to start your girls flowering 2 weeks ahead of your male for best chances...
It seems like its easier to get seeds when you dont want them :)

If you pollinated week 7 prob be immature when you chopped unless you just kept the plant going till they matured?

yeah man......that is why you dry the bud until completely dry before you shuck the seeds
same thing with tomatoes/peppers/veggies
you always let them dry out completely before they are viable
with my chili's
I let the chili dry completely until it is a crisp little pepper.....then crack it open and let the seeds dry for 2 more weeks then store them in the fridge

This girl got moves out of her 3 gal and stretching her legs a little in the 5. She's very happy this morning.

It was from topping. She was in the indoor line up and I thought I saw bug damage. I took her outside and searched the room up and down. No pest evidence. I think it was maybe a simple moth or something that chewed her leaf. By that time she had been outside a day I didn't want to risk bringing pests in.
So ya lon story short I started mainlining her before she was put outside. Lol

You can achieve by lst. Many diff ways. We are working on trimming certain fan leaves to even canopy.. I have some youngsters that will be of age in a couple weeks, prob less and we will start this training. There is a couple others here getting ready to follow suit.. So you get to watch it go down....
