yeah you could do that....I would just be carefull with the freezing process
it is just so much easier to use live resin

if you keep the dad in a corner and keep it like a mom
then when you breed you do it in a small batch literally with clones
as in root the clone and flip
the plants will finish small as hell like maybe 12" finished

I will have to just grow his clone out because he is to big for momma tent ....

or you could just hack it down and then keep it going

you can literally pull all leaves off
all of them.....even the real small ones that have stems and just leave the bud sites with the tiny leaves....it will slow down the growth for about 2 weeks

Well remember now I defoled 6 days ago, then I took ALL the fans off FRI when I left..
Well here is what I came back to. I swear they grew a few inches even!
So I flipped them tonight.. Never topped, just selective defol.. and a few inch lollipop..
