Best of luck. I'm researching IPM (integrated pest management) systems as we speak. Picked up a bottle of neem oil today and learned that Azamax' s active ingredient is Azadirachtin which is an extract from neem. Azasol is a soluble powdered version. Still researching..lol

That's why I know it's safe and why it's the only thing I can spray this late in bloom. All I'm worried about is taste from Azamax. I'm really actually good for at least another 3 weeks on the Creamsicle but I don't want to push it too much, Murphy's Law an all.

Well I just sprayed Green Cleaner pretty late in flower, gonna follow up with a plain cool water rinse and hope it doesn't taste like shiz.. I heard you can taste neem as well so I'm only gonna use in veg and early flower. I'll lyk how it goes. As far as killing the mites, GC seems to work alright. Kinda concerned the iso alcohol in it will wash trichs off but idk.

I know alcohol washes resin off other things. I wouldn't risk it. I've used the Azamax during flower already and it seems to be gone in a few days. I think it naturally breaks down. I read a lot of people saying it's fine till 3 weeks from harvest. I wouldn't dare advise someone when to use it too far after the flip until I know for sure myself. I've got almost $2K tied up in this grow (growing outside is cheap and easy, my a$$). I'm betting that as long as the trichs aren't all grown together, and air and light can reach, then it won't stick around in the flavor. But if its done during thickening it will seal it in. Just a guess, but I think it's logical.

I personally would choose neem over alcohol later in flower, if I had to pick. Better a taste than no buzz, imo. Though if it stinks or tastes bad my crop is no longer tradeable. I lose half because my Kush are still early in bloom. I will have this sh*t dialed next year.

Hang in there. If you're super close to harvest maybe best to let it ride and just spray them off occasionally, maybe. As long as it isn't icewater then they should hold right? Resin isn't water soluble without a catalyst like heat, cold, or solvent, isn't it?

I think you are correct as far as trichs and heat/cold/solvent are concerned. I'm way too far in for anything at this point but a cool water rinse and fans on high. Luckily I haven't seen any new activity in a while so I think I'll make it. I don't have quite as much riding on mine as my GF is my only patient until I dial in.

On a lighter note, your shit is looking frosty as all get out! I'm pumped to see how your flowers develope.

I'm going to drench the sh*t out of them at .40, three times. Now that I know it was water deficiency last time I'll make sure they're well watered first. First time I sprayed, it was with the nozzle set to be a fine cone of spray, second time I drenched with the sprayer nozzle almost wide open. Going back to the super thorough mist approach. I'm not missing a mm. May adjust down to 5-5-4 or 5-4-4 days, even 4-4-4 if I see the buds starting to tighten up too much.

I want to drag these flowers out, so I hope Cha Ching does what it claims. I want at least 10 weeks on the Creamsicles if possible. Don't know what the Kush need to be fully plump. I am stoked about the heavy resin production on the Creamsicles, the Kush is supposed to be even more so. Only seeing a trich popping out here and there. I like that, need to multiply locations more before they fully pop. Wish there would have been time to have done Open Sesame but couldn't afford it because I wasted too much on AN.

I'm happy all our girls are well sugar coated.

I am still blown away at the results of using Beastie Bloomz and EJ Catalyst. The Sativa are getting fat and the Kush are poppin flowers everywhere. They're already crusty when they pop. Awesome!

(The borg don't seem to be hurting them. I'll have them knocked back into much lower numbers over the next 12-15 days with Azamax. Shouldn't web up on me. Neem is great stuff.)

...and they've all started to smell so very very nice just in the last few days. Almost burns my eyes it's so strong.

My runt has almost zero secondaries. She'll likely be the one keep instead of trading to the co-op. She's my minion, "Booyah, Booyah, Booyah!!!"

5th week of flower, don't know if its too early for my fan leaves to start yellowing. Should I nute them up?

I'm feeding them Tiger Bloom 2-8-4, Big Bloom 0-0.5-0.7, Beastie Bloomz 0-50-30, Earth Juice .03-.01.-.10.

Heres a pick of what I have and down at the garden Bat Guano 7-3-1, Humic 2-4-2. Just started with the Tiger and Big Boom yesterday. EJ and Beastie Bloomz about 4 days ago. Don't know how long they've been yellow, it's on the sun side and I'm not out there often. Hard for me to walk out there.

Maybe Cal/Mag or B-52, not sure if adding higher nitrogen will help by itself or if they even need it. Flowers have no trichs yet, fyi.

Am I jumping the gun, not waiting for Tiger Bloom's N to start working?

Hybrid, heavy on the Sativa side? My Kush are straight up evergreens, barely a yellow leaf anywhere. Been battling pest, nute, and watering issues with my Sativas the whole time. Serious problem children, but worth it.

Two out of three Kush signaled nitrogen toxicity once with a few claws, mites have done zero damage to them and the population is 1/100th the others. They're like big dumb beasts that don't even notice something is trying to hurt them, lol.

Keep your Sativa watered more than you think they need, IMO. It's kept mine from the brink several times. You don't have to do it every day, but if they droop yellow, it seems to help perk the green back up in a few minutes. Try like a half of the regular watering. You'll see.

Grow Log 09-07-2017

Two people who claim to know what they're talking about and who physically saw my plants said, "They won't spider up on you". Some people know how to do one type of grow well and people revere them as experts because they made some good scratch. Unfortunately these same people let it go to their heads and start giving advice as if they were experts when they should have kept their mouths shut.

Luckily, I sift information well and saw them for who they really are instead of taking their advice. The second, so called expert, told me, "Never listen to what they say on those forums. They'll give you all kinds of different answers." What a f^cking idiot.

I pointed out some webbing in these next pictures that can only be seen because it's coated with Azamax from the evening before. Two more hits five days apart should do it.

Dude, I noticed the same thing! My Sativa dominant plants (Diablo) are way more susceptible to underwatering and mites imo!! The mystery girl which def has a stronger mix of Indica in it has had no over/underwatering problems and the mites seem to prefer the Diablo. Wonder why..?

I'm hitting them with B-52 & Sensi Cal Mag Extra. 2-1-4 & 4-0-0. Maybe I can answer it for all of us. Trying to avoid rinsing Azamax again. It might be because the mites are poisoning them, just a wild guess but within the realm of probability.

Fwiw, I used something called Flying Skull Nuke'em for spider mites recently, and it worked well. It's somewhat organic etc. It worked perfectly.
