A Single Straw Can Start A Revolution. - Masanobu Fukuoka

I was rethinking my schedule. Right now I think coconut water is all they need by reading them. They just need to be left alone as much as possible.

Growth rate is incredible. The nematodes sure perked them up so ma6be too many root chompers. In spite of all that they've developed strong root systems and now they're establish8ng and taking off. One WW is already sexing...i suspect it's the MBP.

Ones in 10g are staggering nodes. They have reached maturity which I like to do before flip. It speeds up the transition process.

After seeing these leaves shying from the light it hit me. I'm new with LEC. Those bitches are potent with no glass. I raised them 6". They were 2' over the canopy! Going to start keeping them about 2.5-3' high. Once flower starts I'll slowly lower them. Notice the one in the back praying because it's in the offset.

BlackBerry looks sexy though. Her multibranches are taking off. About to turn into some bushes.

She just got her neem/saponin/aloe foliar. Saponin is beast. Knocks fungus gnats right out the air.

Just be careful... At first I thought because the lights run cooler than most you can keep it closer to the plant.. I was wrong. I was getting major tacoing all the while thinking it was too much humidity. When I raised the light much higher than what I have heard to be recomended, All those issues stopped.
This was my experience!
Thanks for all the good info you have been throwing out!

Lol yah light penetration is definitely no issue with these. The plant I just posted is growing in sidelight and looks healthier than some I actually tried hard to grow. Lights are way up. They are still shying a bit. How high do you keep them?

Im using the Nanolux 630... So I have it at 5' over the canopy. I have not seen any extra "stretch" as if it were too dim.
Im sure there are people that will say ..."thats way too high"
And I will tell them... " they are too high" LOL

Want to raise the lights more. I mean fuck it...ill raise them to the ceiling. If they stretch I'll lower them 6 inches.

I don't fuck with LEC while the bulbs are hot.

Nah dude with no glass they really throw down UV heat. The ones growing out of the sidelight are growing under direct light and starting to taco the leaves entering that danger zone.

@cannabeans thank you for the help sir. I think this has been an issue for some time and I was looking at nutrient issues which they are in a way because the plant is exhausting itself and damaged stomata aren't helping. Leaves are prematurely dying at the bottom due to excessive work. They're at the ceiling. I should pop flower at 2.5 ' due to headspace.

I've been following the dumb hand under the light for 20 seconds test which is b.s. that's like holding your hand out at the pool and saying well I won't get sunburn today because it didn't burn me in 20 seconds. Radiant heat caused by UV takes a little time.

@cannabeans thanks for the help. The girls want to thank you also. The leaves stopped tacoing but the damage was done so I'll draw some fresh leaves out. I read once the leaves are damaged they dont d9 much anyway. The stomata are also damaged.

Snagged some stuff from build a soil. I also got a quart of karanja oil. I am running the soap nut extract/70% neem/30% karanja/aloe every other day to get a hold on these fungus gnats. Its an all out war but I'm cleaning up piles every day. It may take up to 2 weeks to completely break the cycle. Its hard to keep gnats out of a 400 pound pile of decomposing organic matter. Who woulda thought?

@cannabeams you understand how these plants grow. I laugh when the height is brought into question. The roots are growing first. Then it's like a rocket ship. I also dropped to 18/6. 24 may have been working them too hard with all that PAR.
