Looking pretty good..
If you look under the cfl on the left
I see what looks like 2 tops right under scrog net that looks luke you topped? Do u see it?

Wisher does he need to wait a little longer for he flips? I was gonna have him flip tonight.

I want them 2 tops to produce big cola each. With that in mind does he need to let them mature a lil longer...

Just my gut told me to bring this up as most of us use a scrog so this prob a good lli topic...
I cut the smaller stems just yesterday and I'm thinking I don't have the kind of power it takes to bother them during flowering although my LEDs are very flower-friendly(very red). I shall top if you will so give the order.

Well that sounds promising let's get right on that! Lol
Well you got a good lil canopy going.
So now its all about getting that candy..
Week 4 and on you want to keep temps lower so buds dont get airy..

What do you mean you cut smaller stems????

The lower stems that I assumed would never see the top of the net. Some of moderate size I left assuming they would have a chance.

You should of just left them. When we lollipop we would of got them.
Dont assume anything
It always ends up hurting.
But that is topped. I can see.
We need to wait and see what wisher says before we flip...

I would wait another week
also dont cut anything until day 14 of flower
when you hit day 14 of flower you will know what has reached canopy hight and what will never see the light of day

dont cut or top anything....just keep weaving through the net until everything is filled
if you keep cutting you keep setting the plants clock back
just tuck and weave

Cutting shit during flowering instead of only minor maintenance? Are you sure about this? I mean my lack of light power and possibly lack of plant resilience.

Oh another thing. Is it only tucking under the net I should be doing? Ive only been weaving when I need a stem to turn in a different direction.

Do you want to learn?
We are not just reciting youtube to you... Thats why i keep asking did you top because the plant and the tops need time to recover. Or its all for nothing...
I think you are suffering from newbie anxiety...
I would remind you of KISS.....

Tuck EVERYTHING so that we can get the lower branches whuch now you done cut.. You kind of fuckrd up..
Well let it recover and flip it.
Next Sun...

Yeah damn. Not to pleased about that considering I should have waited that long before assuming. Yes I did top 2 days before the first tent-pic I showed you but only on a few of stems of a few plants. I didn't bother to keep a record of them. I was in such a hurry to get the Scrog going that I failed to label the plants ID numbers after transferring to bigger pots. Not that it matters much. They're all the same strain. I still keep a log of course.

Well we just need to give it a week. Really 2 weeks in soil..
But we look at it next sun.
Meantime keep tucking and dont cut nothing...

Absolutely will not cut anymore. It was sad throwing them away considering how well I do at cloning. All potential donkey dicks lol

Good schooling session this morning guys. This will stay locked in my brain forevermore scrogs to come.
so here is the deal
you let it go a day or 2 and you will see branches probably 2-3" or more above canopy
you take those and weave them through in spots that have space
you keep doing that and every time a branch lays down a node will create a new branch
all the while the lowers will reach up to the net
once the net is filled good
you flip to flower
on day 14 of flower
everything will have stretched up
you can now see what will never reach light or the net
you cut off everything below the net
any little scraggly branch or node
so then when you look at the plant from the side you will see bare naked legs net bush
in that order
then you just let her go and do her thing
no topping

@Wisher619 I was reading or watching youtube or some shit, and I seen where a guy removed all the fan leaves week 6.
Let me ask you.
Does fan leaves feed the buds or just the stems and branches?
Do sugar leaves provide most of the flowers needs?

From what ive read and learned,
and tried to understand,
im of the feeling that sugar leaves provide most of what the bud needs late in flower week 7,8,9
And really the fans are back up storage and they take the hit when you have ec are nutrient issues..
So am i anywhere in the right ball park with my thinking?
What does your gut and knowledge tell you?

I used to pick your brain all the time..
Really all newbies should read the first 100 pages of this thread,
because i asked so many questions and you gave such good in-depth answers....

you are correct
large fan leaves are nutrient storage and sugar factories
but once flowers are in full bloom you can actually stop feeding and you will notice all the leaves turn and die but the flowers will continue to grow
here is the problem
anyone touching there buds that deep into flower....in that manner.....isnt very bright
IMO you never want to handle the flowers in any way after say week 3/day 21
once buds actually form....no touching
so trying to pluck all those leaves is crazy
now if you are running something that has very few leaves to begin with like my GG4
then there really wouldnt be a reason to pull leaves anyways
this is only my opinion
