I get you lolLol tractor drives itself. I just sit in it.
can I repost this under my name in the organic thread lol,,there are many factors that can accentuate or enhance terpenes...but not potency
although the effects of the thc will be regulated/modulated by terpenes so in essence in a round a bout way it does enhance potency
but
just talking THC....that is genetic related...I am sure people will disagree but this is what it is
one of the factors that allows organic growing to up terpene production is the amount of work the plant needs to accomplish to raise the sugar/brix level to feed the microbes in turn breaking down minerals to feed the plant
when you force your plant to work overtime to produce those sugars the excess will be secreted in the form of terpenes contained within the grandular trichome
ofcourse there are many cofactors that are involved in this process but this is a very simplified explanation.....
differ light color/wavelengths also contribute to this process....which is why you get more or heavier terpene profiles from outdoor grown cannabis
but
I highly value my indoor coco/hydro cannabis
no it does not taste/smell/smoke "chemically"
I have grown and do grow both simultaneously....in my experience....there is no difference
I believe the true difference comes in the form of human perception
I have also experimented with vegatables such as my tomatoes
where I grow Living organic with weekly teas as well as coco/hydro and there is absolutely no difference in taste....none......they are both sun grown
one with mineral nutrients the other with tea and ewc/compost
taste is the same
Hydro ripens faster.....produces ethelyne faster
also easier to steer relative to flower production.....pushing high ec levels along with a drier substrate quickly produces many flowers and fruits with exceptional terpene profiles from stem and leaves...as you taper down you ec and raise moisture levels you fruit will swell to enormous proportions then as they ripen you back down to a more dry enviroment and the fruit sweetens
this is my experience
U better watch it, them organic jugglos will be coming for you hating on their sense of smell and taste!Taste & smell differences are likely placebo. They think it will taste/smell better so, to them it does.

Well im not a great beleiver in gmo by any stretch of the means.. Russia wont even allow them in their country..I mean, I got yelled at for dumping 6 gallons of coco coir in one of our woods. I can only imagine the shitstorm that would ensue.
I should take a picture of the nice jet black soil I'm plowing up right now.
"Top soil has been dead for 20 years"
Damn GMO's and their high yields making sure there's enough food for hundreds of millions of people.
im still up in the air about how I want to proceed. If I want to tuck the main cola or remove the top fans. trimming top fans will promote them lower branches, but just tucking will do the same thing...As you can see we are just about to the net.. I think my plants grew 4 inches this 1st week..

perpetual harvest??you mean like, that you harvest 4 plants every 2 weeks and add 4 more new plants at the same time so you always got 4 finishing every 2 weeks?Looking good bro, so close.. Once you switch to 12/12 with a full scrog that shit is going to be like a jungle in there haha..
For a perpetual harvest what temp/rh/co2 would you run? I'm thinking 76/55/1000?
here they are last wed night..They are groooooowing...
Good growth.
Roots doubled since yesterday..
6.1 pH
560 ppm
600 ppm co2
79.7 degrees (no ac being used)
71% rh
70 degree water temp...

Good question..
IDK..
because I change temps/rh/spectrum depending which part of flower im in..
Mater fact im only using c02 in veg, then in flower im ramping it down to 500 by 5th week of flower and 400 by 6th week of flower is my plans in the UC at least..
Thats tricky as c02 will make the buds stretch a lil, and that can hurt appeal and density..Basically, but it would be a harvest every 4-5 weeks.. two different cycles going on in one 4x8 tent. Thats why i was trying to come up with a middle ground from the cch2o chart..

I would just use c02 in veg and leave c02 in flower at ambient levels or 600 or less if sealed and supplementing..
