220 bucks including tax. That's a good price for a 200 gallon a day
Wow, nice!

So been revamping things with Wisher...

Reconfigged the grow room a bit, again. Now have the 6 sickly plants in there and almost all else removed.
6 plants are now set up in an 8' by 5 foot area with two 1000w HPS lights... each plant has close to 7 sq. feet of floor space and is not receiving 540 to 630 PAR each, measured at the center of the top of the plant, under a 7' ceiling. Assuming they survive the root rot, they should have a bright future.

But I learned something very important overnight:
When I'm hurting I am slow: it can take 4 to 5 *hours* to mix up nutes, then feed the plants by hand. My back is so badly jacked now I may lose most or all of today stuck in bed. That's not going to work for long! So it looks like automating is in my pretty near future.

That being said, for that PH/EC/TDM is there a particular model of Blue Labs, Hanna, etc. I should be considering now so that I can automate in a month or so? And any I should definitely not buy?? I'm comfortable cruising eBay and all, just don't want to end up with the wrong one as this is going to take a very serious budget stretch to work in already; screwing up and buying the wrong one would create a real mess with my wife!

Thanks!

Will do, should i also give like a half or whole feeding depending on how dry it is?
when you transplant you want to water it completely to runoff
soak the coco conpletely once transplanted

fill the 1 gal container
get an empty party cup and fill around it making sure it is sitting where it needs to be in the 1 gal
then pop the plant out of the party cup and sit it in the hole where the empty created
now pack the coco in around the base a little
now soak with nutes and +life

Jedis, help i do need.

Initial symptoms began in 4" cups of used, non reammended ffof... transplanted to 1gal happy frog. Gets light dragon fly earth medicine + wcw + camg tea alternated with degassed tap water. Can't figure out what's going on but it's affecting every plant except one that's be info revegged in the 5g flower container with lightly amended ffof, same feed regiment.

Thrips

There's soap concentrate, azamax, and silica on hand. Probably cayenne pepper somewhere. Could I get it under control with these? How frequently is foliar recommended?
insecticidal soap would work but I would recommend Captain Jacks dead bug
it is Spinosad consentrate
that will stop them
in veg I would spray once every 3 days
for about 2 weeks
you want to saturate the underside of the leafs well as well as the tops
make sure to dim your lights or raise them up

azamax will work to kill them in the soil

just hate putting things like that down in the roots

Right on, gettin to it now!

What's up with spinosad causing test failures?

No sources cited but something about its fine if eaten but it's half life last long into flowering and it has potential adverse affects when smoked. Ill read up.

Also, the yellowing on the edge of leaf, also caused by thrips?

That would be nice if the diet and exercise fixes the problem.
Like you said Worst case is you get in better shape for the surgery if needed.
I totally understand about not giving up
My brain is in denial that my body is getting older.
So is mine brother.. And i saw a few old gezzers at the gym and a couple grew haired OG's as in 65 year old gym rats there whole life.. They are what gives me strength..And the fact that i may be older and slower but my will power and my determination have been chisled over many decades..
Today i dont have the distractions that a younger me had. And im at an age that when i do things, i do them for myself, and not another person across the room...
Add that with the fact that the last 10 years when i said, Hoss if you want this then lets get it, and I hit it with everything I got. I live it, I breath it, I dedicate my heart to it... Some would say I have problem of taking things to the extreme. Its the same with growing. I absorbed all I could, thru as many diff ways as possible.. I had to study 10 to 15 things that you needed to know just to understand the lingo..
I googled so much i thought i was sure to set off Alarms as a potential underground anarchist.

Thats just the way im wired.. Maybe i aint normal.. And im glad im not...
Because a normal person who hasnt ran a block in 10 year doesnt run 1.75 miles( TODAY :) ) by start of second week at 46 when he has migraines middle of the night and they said surgery twice was needed..
The little boy in me wouldnt let them saw on my back... My nuts said i could over come these injuries... And I went with my nuts..
Hey they always said thats what we think with...

Just got my new RO system home and hooked up. Shouldn't have a problem running out of water now

220 bucks including tax. That's a good price for a 200 gallon a day
Ya when it comes time to get new filters, im gonna up mine to that exact one..
These cheap grow1 glasses I got from amazon work awesome, and they were less than $20
I need a pair myself. I wonder if my tanning googles would work.. deff have to try that..
I don't think the color is ever going to come to the tip of this one. Looks like I'll have an albino bud
She is light bleached and she will never really change...

Yikes... Before i tell you that you have the plague, quick question,,,,,,, Are you one of them guys that goes all Clint Eastwood on daily foliar applications??? With the lights banging down on them.. If not, then Wish has set you on the path to redemption..

Axamax is nasty shit.. clones or to save a prized genetics is about all..

Thanks wish.... exactly what i was looki g for!!!
Yep he got you exactly what you needed.
You can return to just watering at lights on
And these will take significantly more water but you wont have to worry about watering twice a day till prob flower. And did you get ro water? And did you see the self watering machine at krogers?

yes yellowing would be cause by thrips
all those specks are where they are sucking the nutrients out

never heard of spinosad throwin tests
but I do know that you should never spray in flower

I'm a little more lax with foliar timing under t5, and maybe use it 2/3 times a week. Usually not the same thing twice. I'll tighten up and see if that helps any symptoms.
also I did some research
the only thing I can find on Spinosad is that a spot in oregon over a year ago got popped because all there shit came back with extreme levels of spinosad on dried flower

I dont know anyone who would spray during flower so you should be good to go
I see no evidence beside BS boards that it has any kind of shelf life

most prople I know use it throughout veg and get tested and it never shows up
so I dont know
