all those expensive books....and no1 to answer any questions.
trial and error did keep things simple tho. back in nz Outdoors i found simple best! it is a weed afterall.

My old neighbor back in HB is from NZ, he moved back a couple years ago to run his parents farm...i hope to go visit him one day, the country looks so beautiful.

yup same here just without the growshops, didnt have that stuff back then.
hardest part was finding seeds back in my teens.
has some awsome strains from the filthy few n hells angels over thle years, used to swap psudo tabs for them:D.

Yeah kiwis everywhere :badboy: its really nice there can only recomend it, specially if u know some1, keeps you away from the tourist bullshit.Went back for 6 weeks this year with my mrs n son. it was his first time, we had a ball. we land locked here too so it was his first time on the ocean. oh how i miss the pacific. geting wasted on the rocks n smashing monster kingfish as the sun came up.

I freaking love it..
My furnace has been kicking on cause i had it set to 66..
So time to turn the hillbilly heat up, to 2000w hps and see if we can save on the heat bill...

Typically open circuits are generally found when wiring up something.
Rarely do open circuits happen where it's been live for awhile. Although there's other aspects to this, I doubt any would be present in your situation.
Poor wiring would be the main reason in your situation but even that's rare.

My guess would be your circuit is not open and its your bulb like you said or your ballast.

A quick way to troubleshoot is plug something else in to that receptacle or pick an ideal circuit tester.

I don't doubt it works, but it does sound crazy!

On another note, I don't know this procedure... But you'd think that would be an instant fix. To quarantine it for 3 to 6 weeks you could use other methods that aren't as harsh.

I'm not trying to say you're wrong or being rude, just bouncing thoughts off my head...
I believe it's very beneficial for all of us to share our thoughts on different methods... sometime's they're wack, sometimes nothing, sometime's beautiful

I reset my moms ever 6 months
and on the side I run my own seeds

so if I want something in circ for the future I plan ahead.....

grow it some and reset it

grow some more....no bugs
no pm no virus
ok take cuts and flower her out

and since I am at the heart of California literally Central Cali
I can pretty much have anything I want within an hour in any direction

but all my smoke goes to me now so I aint worried what the consumer wants cuz the only consumer is me now

and I always have enough smoke on hand
each run nets me enough to get me through 2 runs
so I am always ahead

I just finished my little outdoor seed run
and brother
a shit ton of seeds
still havnt sifted them
they all just in paper bags still in the bud
been like 2 months

I actually feel lucky that where I live...I actually have the luxury of letting a strain go if I like to
I would def be a super hoarder with my cuts if I lived in prohabition

Hell yeah I'm up there lol. Was a mistake on my part. I vegged too long and they shot up like hell during the beginning of flowering. Doing most of this strain next round and the others stretch pretty good so I'll be more prepared :cool:. Been running tap water for over a year and a finally got my hands on a hydrologic 1000gp evolution for free!. Going to put that to work soon
Unfortunately I bleached two colas :/ the rest seem far away to not get destroyed at least!

Thanks bicky Nahh, i moved a little of the top layer of coco around to make surr it was moist underneath cuz it looks super dry on top but literally right under the dryed out coco is plenty moist coco

Lol, i know man. N theres a couple more claws hiding in there. We will get the pulled off soon enough. Soo i attempted to get them to take a cup a piece this morni g but they still liking the half a cup idea. Lol, on another note it sucked that half a cup up quick like. First time i actually seen it wick up w my own eyes.
Ohh yeah, n the temps havnt really changed since i bumped the light up to 400w. Still sticking between 77/81° lights on. It mainly stays around 77/79 it hit 81 a few min ago when i was in there messing w everything tho. Dont think i have to worry ab it sticking over 80 but im home today (got rained out at work) soo ill be keeping my eyes on the temp throughout the day.

Dang I miss that. It has been 4 or 5 years but seems like it was just last week. Gonna have to see if there is anything lifting wise the spinal surgeon will let me do once the surgery is over. With about a week to go, it's too soon to try to start up again before hand. Don't want to inflame anything before he gets in there and goes to work. Hmmm.

Use a K&N aif filter for intake...
What ever you do do nt put a filter where it can get wet and start a mold situation..

Good idea, Thanks! Yes whatever solution I end up with for both the tent and room I want to place into an openable box that I tentatively plan to install my ozone light into. It is made for HVAC ducts to be placed just upstream from the filter. It generates light at 147-ish nm. It will generate ozone and nuke any organic stuff (viruses, bacteria, mold, etc that land on the filter surface and also generates a slight charge in the air, supposedly causing particulates smaller than what your filter normally would stop to cling together, forming a larger particle that then gets caught. B/c of that it almost encourages use of a flat filter like a home furnace 1 but only if I can find a good way to secure it in place but still be replaceable...
