Here's the real deal. I don't know exactly how many ml per gal I use.
I don't always use a full res.
What I do is add grow or bloom until the ppm is 750.
Then I call that 18 ml per gal. :)
Should I drop the tds down to 625ppm. That's about 17% less

I would really like the fam here to pull our cash together and get you a pair of those color corrective lenses

dude if the guy gave you those cuts
I see purple on the stem from the coco up
meaning the new growth is correct
the older growth from his care...is trash

purple stems means not the correct nutrients/bad ph etc...

so actually to me looks to be on track

all new growth looks good to me
as the light color will fill out darker as it progresses into larger leaves
but the purple stem tells me that the growth wasnt correct for a while


I can always look at my MOM plants and see when I neglected them
stem will be green then a purple streak then green again
that purple streak is where I let it dry all the way to almost death or fed it only water till NPK was gone
or something
because I am super lazy hahahha

but if you could see it
the stem where the new leaves are is a nice light green color
exactly what it should be

as for the plant in flower
is that happening at the lower level
is so let it be
it is fine
there is enough Ca in there

as for my suggestion

DONT CHANGE WHAT YOU ARE DOING
DISREGUARD WHAT RECOMMENDED
new growth looks great

I haven't even looked at the plants today.. I usually at least check them once a day..

both are OG status
so they both suck Ca
what you can do is
when they go into flower
you can up you NPK value up to say 1.8-1.9 or add 3ml of calmg per gal through week 3

I had the exact same problem with my GG
if I ran ot again I know what to do for her
just up the Ca

If this is what you mean by purple... It's purple all the way to the top. I will get me a pair of those glasses as soon as I get my bank roll back up.
About a year-and-a-half ago I took a year off growing so that I could take care of my wife. She had a couple of major surgeries and it took a year to recover. As soon as I was ready to start growing again I found out I had those damn russet mites. And I dealt with them all summer. So right now I'm a broke dick motherfucker. But it is a temporary situation.

I took these cuts myself. I've had this plant for about a month now.
The mom is now in flower and was doing great until just recently.
I couldn't tell you how long it's been purple.

Do you still ever run a tea day when flushing or would it be unnecessary

The first two pics are of the Evel Knievel. Leaves are dark green and slightly leathery. Only one or two leaves at the bottom of the plant show a Calcium deficiency.
The second pic is the Gorilla Glue. This is the root bound plant with the burnt Leaf tips. And also a Calcium deficiency on the bottom leaves. I have a gorilla glue growing right next to this one that's in onr gallon pot that is not root bound. And it is showing no signs of deficiency and no burnt Leaf tips.

So I was using a higher ec solution. 1.6 to be exact.
I lowered the ec to between 1.4 - 1.5 Then I started seeing the leaves turn.
I will up my ppm and I bet it all goes away. If not then I will lower my base ppm and add some calmag

I'm pretty excited about the EK. I took the original clone to my buddies house to flower because I thought it got russets from my place. It didnt. But I sprayed more bleach and got another clone for me.
It's drying over there now. Smells like a sour kush I used to grow. It was my all time fav. So I'm excited.

Do they typically flower for a certain number of days? Or does it still vary between strains?
