just grabbed my bottle to look...called root!t. theres nothing listed apart from...contains vitamin B1, thats it:(

Clonex is just that indole butyric acid. This is same shit just way cheaper. I’ve seen people clone with just water but the IB works. Hahah. I think @gravekat303 said he uses the Home Depot stuff so I grabbed it. Didn’t know they had it.

That’s what I always used but I I’ve heard a lot of people using this. I’m guessing it’s gonna works just as well but we will see. It’s cheaper than the 1 time use clonex pouch. Hahah.

Did a side by side in root!t sponges. Seradix (powder), Clonex (gel), water only. Water only got roots after a week, Seradix took a few days longer, clonex took almost 2 weeks.

Well, gel or powder, it's all gonna get washed off by the cloner.

Agreed. I’ve never used an aero cloner. I pop in root riots so the powder actually seems like it would keep better coverage.

i use willow water often in the garden that works great...want to keep thigs sterile tho. had clonex powder years ago growin outside in nz. but cant even remember.

guess a weak rhizo mix would do fine too.

I like the powder root dip over the jell. The jell would mold in its container in a drawer in my workbench. The powder has lasted me years. And I have plenty left. They all seem to work just need to find what works for you. Like Bicky said even week veg formula in rockwool works.
