It's battery operated one charge lasted all season. An off season neem cake stir in or drench would smother the eggs of them grubs or what ever they are. They are quick and easy to totally drench the plants top and bottom. It's called a hudson never pump 4 gallons max load but a bit heavy for an old man full.I mix a few gallons at a time
wouldnt it be better to know what you are killing before you kill it? Dont get me wrong, its impossible to grow organics without some pests, so i understand the need to treat at times, but mechanical barriers are a good option

It's always best to know what you are killing but oldskul has been getting beat up by bugs. without a bit of well timed organic spraying the bugs will eat it all.

do you record what bugs you are getting at what time of year? if not this might be a good idea, this way you might better plan an IPM and prevent the hassle? It is a requirement if one is selling food etc, that one keeps ones product in an unmolested state to retain its value.
We as you say will never eradicate bugs in organic systems, they are after all part of the whole. They do however come bringing messages of imbalance that we more often choose to ignore, instead focusing on eradication only. :-)

yes sir, they mail you ahead so you can go look for cucumber beetles for example, i use the one here, its very effective but needs updating. I keep my own record and cross reference historical data more widely in my area.
I add all the treatments to my calendar so i dont forget, everyone has one job so no one repeats anyone elses shit

yes mate, you can grab shit loads of data, i love the Internet for that much. You should have some data on photo rates based on month, so you can plan shading etc ahead of time, insects allowing you to net food before hand, lots of really neat stuff to help

I am using nets mate, they only function for about a week before they get predated by bigger wasps I saw this year. two weeks max and its over for a another year and you are free to get hit by caterpillars instead :-) LOL never ends

in 105F temps at 1000-1300w/m2-s at 0.04% CO2 there is no way its working on 99.9% of all plants in any one group. Plants only operate at about 5% max and this is when the light/ temp is lower, come mid day and they are down to less than 1% at those ranges, this is not sufficient to accredit 418KJ of energy :)

get some BTi-K for the pilers bro, or Beauvaria bassiana will kill them dead, nets stop them tho, you just got to make sure there arent any gaps, those fucking insects will walk a week to find the smallest gap in the armor
