I guess the point of all of this was to make sure people understood WHY we use a smaller pot. Not because smaller is better, but because more filled out roots and more f endings are better. However you achieve that whether it’s your mix, pot size, whatever.

Sometimes I worry people just follow blindly and don’t understand why they are doing whatever it is they are doing

Nice. Ya that’s what I did. I had 6 moms but I needed cuts for next round so I threw a 1k mh over them to make them blow up and took a gang of cuts.
Then they’re bigger than I want, + I got 3 new strains so I’m flowering them then gonna take the 9 new moms and keep them a lil smaller and plan ahead more for taking cuts for rounds. From now on the veg tentdoesnt get flowered

oh the turbo cloner is the shit... I love it.. I dont think it makes it faster, or do I think its better per se.. rooters are great..
So the greatness is I can leave them in the cloner for 3 to 4 weeks cause im a lazy fuck that likes to bs on weed growing sites :(

When I follow the advice of someone it’s because they explained it and it makes perfect sense to me so I utilize it. If it doesn’t I tweak it of forget about it.
Nobody should be just following just because as I’m sure you agree.

yeah I dont like people that follow blindly....what happens when you arent there to hold their hand and they have a complication?

Guilty as well. Hahah. The one think I dislike about rooters with multiple strains is having to transplant at different times. Some show roots in 6-7 days. Some take 2 weeks. I transplant once roots poke thru so it’s staggered that first week.
You can see it in the pics. The size and development difference.

Exactly.
And it’s a fine line.
Because if someone very knowledgeable has a suggestion I listen. And if I’m listening and researching it make PERFECT s new I may follow the advice to a T. That may be mistaken as following but I make sure I understand the WHY.
Sometimes that same person has a suggestion I don’t completely agree with and I do my own due diligence and come up with a solution.

It’s about learning to utilize your resources fully without losing full control of what YOU are doing. IMO.

true... At first I thought I was doing something wrong and was allowing pathogens in with dirty techniques.. I got all serious and it does matter, but genetics here play a major key role... As with smell, taste, frost..
