Be careful what you learn from architects and engineers. They got them degrees and know what they know from them fancy books for construction. I like your idea.

Oh I know! Some Architects are crazy with what they design. I do feel pretty good on there airflow and insulation designs. Although I’m always a little skeptical, it at least has to make sense to me if I’m going to do the job.

Definitely not saying there never wrong I’ve seen specs that I couldn’t believe they actually thought it would work. I just happen to like this particular application on this one job.
Sometimes they forget to apply the common sense multiplier.

Architects and engineers didn't like it when I would say, I'm just a dumb bricklayer but this is what I would do lol.
