you are getting going early bro. I am now at least nearly done on the fence. We had to make a few changes to the gate area, just so we werent hanging out on the main road before we get it open. We havent lost anything really, we zig zaged the fence so we lost less than 3m2 overall.

I am just shy of the 100m tho at 96.6 with the fence, so we automatically dropped down to 50m beds at the longest and then 2x 20M to tip it off. I will send pics once its done. Next mission is to install the lines off my already installed tile. :-)

buy the way the soil these are in are my weed soil from 2 yrs back ,still pushing out the plants lmao, what can i say im cheap ass, lmao
nature doesn't renew the soil, merely it maintains the humus by recycling carbon based bio mass. no reason we all should not be doing the same. I never change my soil, I just try to not only produce food or meds, but also to produce humus and accumulate it. I think as producers we have a right to accumulate humus, in fact it should be the payment we make to the land for our use of it. Compost compost compost my boy! We are saving the planet over here, by taking carbon out of the oceans, out of the air, and putting it back in to the soil where it belongs.

It would be nice if society, always ready to moan, showed some commitment to this also by lobbying political classes to construct systems of rewards and check, where we encourage what are of course, some of the poorest workers on the planet, our farmers, to see the accumulation of humus as a benefit, via some carbon credit based system from which they can support themselves, their farms and families fairly for providing the single most vital industry to human survival, but also for reducing the harmful impacts of climate change.
As consumers, we ought really to make our choices based on those farmers engaged in regenerative practices and not who can supply it cheapest, although of course we all understand people have budgets, so I dont blame those seeking low cost food, but if we vote with our dollars, then the world will follow us.
We ought to instruct our politicians to instate policy that protects soil microbes, because if we lose this resource, and we are losing it, go look at any research on the state of wild glomus for example, we are losing access to our meds, and healthy food full of nutrition, and lord knows what else besides. We know certain pesticides, herbicides etc are not great for beneficial plant based soil microbes, so we ought to act to protect these just as we might a polar bear.

Inoculate your spaces, and return the lost glomus, if you want to save the world :-) no joke its thats serious. Surely now the fires and floods and wind hitting the USA means you cant keep ignoring it.

keep you soil, build the humus, grow on and save the planet while you are at it. No need to replace bags of soil all the time, rather consolidate and rotate to squeeze the energy and value from it :-)

sound like me,tons of projects not enough time lmao,,ya i know, but last year it was 1st of march i got started, crappy yields and the heart of bug season, lmao,so im thinking get um in early and maybe getting a better harvest before they get here, hahahh, all i got left for bottom garden is about 3in compost and 2in of wood chips in beds and my corn bed, then im going to layer all between the beds and row with about 3in deep chips cut down on weeds and hopefully cut down watering, thats the plan anyway,ya know how shit happens though

makes sense bro, bigger plants more resistant against stress
Bio Balance Media increases water retention by 40%, while locking away heavy metals and boosting soil carbon mate. It adds Sulphur so is super good for tomatoes and so on or any root veg which love the S. garlic is a good example of a plant that benefits from extra S to really develop its flavor

ha cool, you dont see too many worms over there in the heat i bet, its the same here. When I got here I couldn't find a single worm, now we got loads after boosting humus, but what aint come back yet, toads and frogs...so may be this is why we have more worms right now?

I made a new bio stim esp for cabbages etc, I am just testing it. working really well so far. Its based on psuedomonas and some soil yeast, has amino chelates as per most of box but its an N90 so stronger N levels
I needed to fill the last row but couldnt figure out 1... Im just standing in the seed section... With no clue hahahah.. I should have done a fruit

its funny huh, garden stores look at me funny too when I buy seedling compost and modular trays mid winter and a rack of summer veg stock. I got fruit coming out of my ears here buddy. I am gonna grow pumpkins on most of the lower field while i get my shit together, they are pumpkin mad over here, no shit they use it for all sorts. I am making paste and what not, rest goes to restaurants and local organic/ eco stores.
easy money while I get more organized....well I mean it will pay for the year and some, giving me a larger war chest to follow

while i was out there, we found an old botha which was literally covered by trees and shit, its massive man, perfect square, flat bottom, perfect for a guerrilla grow on the side. I am going make a massive SCROG net to cover the whole, leaving a small gap square for me to climb in, then use a plastic cover on top. its like a mad walled garden and i have the botha to draw water. I have to install an old hand pump tho as its too far to run power. Its the fucking mutts man, i cant wait
