That f^ckin leaftip curl is broad mites. That's why nutes arent doing sh*t. The F^CKIN FEDS are dropping them on the scotch broom around here. (That's what they're saying is the primary reason but everyone knows these mites attack cannabis as well. Our state fought them on raiding our stores and farms so they are just destroying our plants instead.) I'm not black helicopter nutso, and I thought the guy at the hydro store was, until I got home and saw the mites he said I had. I've seen the few hundred foot, super slow flyovers too and never put 2+2 till today.

!!!!!F^CKIN BASTARDS!!!!!

I can't say what the guy at the grow store told me to do. But I can tell you that right after they dropped the mites they came into his store and confiscated almost every effective pesticide from his shelves, including Azamax.

After I bought my things we smoked each other out. Me with some RNK dusted in OC kief, him with some bomb a$$ Lemon Tree (tangie-like, grows local). I want to grow some of that sh*t. I'm gonna talk to him and another guy there about some "things" tomorrow. And see if I can get a cut off that Lemon Tree.

Anyway, he said my plants look great besides the mite damage. That's why it looks so much like nutes. I've been taking such good care of them that the mites haven't been able to kill them, ROFL!!! Now that, was a compliment that made my day. You've been saying basically the same thing too justiceman and I want to tell you that once I understood the situation, all your compliments hit me at once. So you made my day too. I couldn't see through my frustration with myself for not bring able to fix my girls. Thank you, thank you, thank you, dude. (WhtChoc & FarmP, you guys have been so supportive too, and thank you very much)

In less than a week my girls will be 100% YAY!!!

(I knew I knew how to grow better than the results I've been getting. This is such a load off my shoulders.)

I just found some critters under the lower leaves. Have to identify what they are.

They even took his Azamax. I think they're dropping the spider mites too. That's why they seemed to materialize all at once. They did fall from the f^ckin sky!

That’s fucked up! Hope you get them under control. Only pest issues I have had so far are some fungus gnats that I recently deployed some nematodes to handle. And if that fails, Azamax drench lol.

Dude at the hydro store said a lot of people were coming in with russet mites as well. I told him if I had russets I was ready to rip out the whole garden. Last year we were pretty much screwed if we had russet mites. They destroy the buds eating the hairs and trichs. They are horrible little bastards.

Unbelievable! It all makes sense now. I was wondering how it was possible that you were getting some curling when they look so healthy, lush and huge otherwise. I could only come up with nutrient toxicity concentration in a part of the soil in my mind, but it just didn't make much sense to me looking at everything else. Damn broad mites man! At least the plants are so huge should be able to get them under control.

Nice amount of sugar showing up here

Oh yeah, those Creamsicle are very sweet.

What was screwin with me the most was changin up the nutes, getting beautiful growth and straight tips for a few days, and then they'd go all curly-Q'd again in a day. I was gettin really pissed and bangin my head, like WTF?!!! I'm feeling much more relaxed again as far as my garden goes. The pesticides the hydro guys sold me go on a hose end and apply like a fire hose. That is soooo nice compared to a Hudson sprayer. Took me ten minutes to spray down the whole garden, and I mean fully saturated.

My poor girls. F^ckin sh****tty Feds!!!

On an up note, the postal service was sooo late with both the shipments from Cult Hydro they gave me the second gallon of Tiger Bloom for free. That's a straight up, "praise God!!!" blessing right there with how tight I am on moolah right now. Those guys at Cult Hydro rock!

Oh ya the flowers are really starting to come in now :party1:. Wow that's an awesome score. 1 extra gallon! Not bad at all. That's good customer service.

My neighbor was clearing out his grow stuff and kicked me down a propane thermal fogger. Nothing expensive but plenty capable of disbursing Nuke Em in the garden when the girls are too far into flower for the hose attached chemical pyrethrins sprayer I'm using now. Once I know I've eradicated the broad mites I can switch to fogging the much milder and far more expensive Nuke Em for a follow up deterrent.

I'm going to start posting to my Grow Log every 3-4 days. The daily stuff is cool but too taxing in my condition.

Here are some early morning flash pics from yesterday.

A couple of broad mite pics taken with my Galaxy S7 and 30x/60x loupe. They're dead and I couldn't get a good picture, but that doesn't matter because I'm trying to show how small they are. You can see that they're there but I think it might take a 100x scope to get an identifying pic with this phone's camera. I'll try again tomorrow with a fresh leaf, more daylight, and my Galaxy S6 (with a far better 20Mp camera w/zoom lens).

30x, Their shriveled from being dead.

60x, the black dots on the leaf's spine are young broad mites. It's hard to see them because they're tucked in between the hairs.

The Broad Mites did a lot of damage but I think they'll recover. I hope the infestation didn't reduce their yield too much. I checked several leaves, a cross section of old and new damage, and although all of them had mites, none were living.

I feel moderately confident I can take clones without running much risk of having an outbreak in the tent. Between the fogger my neighbor gave me and the Nuke Em I'm ordering I think the tent will be pest free or close to it. The hydro store guy said he'd give me cuttings from his Lemon Tree strain when I'm ready and I don't want to get them infected, or my last Royal Nepal bean. The thing is I can be all worried about it, or... Just accept the fact that with growing around here mites ARE going to happen and start running pesticides early. Even if the plants are showing no symptoms. If I do another outside grow I'll use the fogger and a wetting agent the first couple times. That way the Nuke Em will coat everything and stick around the whole grow cycle and part of the flower cycle. Except on the new growth of course.

Almost impossible to get through after being drenched from spraying pesticide.
