my favourite Indica right now is auyahuaska purple by Barney’s farm. Reminds me of my high school days. Very Stoney but nice.
24k is a kosher Tangie seed buy / rename by Canuck seeds that’s a good Sativa for you. It’s not a pure Sativa but what is.

Old timer wants to catch up on hip indica and sativa seeds available in UK. Highest THC desired
No idea over there but there’s this ethos strain i was looking at testing up to 35%
“Inzane in the membrane.” No bullchit. That’s the name. Ethos genetics I think around $100 a pack.
There’s other high tests. I steered away from that one cause although heavy indica I don’t like leafy bud. The ratio has to be right. I got blueberry n love it but clean trimming heavy leaf to calyx bud sucks. N if you leave the leaf you alter the flavors. It’s more to it than just jumping on high thc label.
If you find anything say 25% n grow it good you should be fine. And it opens your options to many more tested run and reliable strains. If you go straight for 30%+ the strains will be limited and all have pros n cons. 35% dank bud no good when you spend 90 days to harvest an oz a plant.
But well grown ,cared for ,25% range and 3 oz a plant
plays out a lot better. Still be better than anything on the shelf. More of it to last you.
90 days takes me a lot of smoking. I need prob personal 6 oz for 90 days. That’s 14g a week 2 a day. If you got good chit 2gs should keep you flying all day til you pass out
my blotto litterally after 2-3 hits your wasting weed but tastes so damn good I can’t stop smoking it.

Total TCH content is NOT an accurate test of the high of the weed.

The Terpene Profile, and all kinds of other things affect the intensity of the high vs simple High THC. Many modern strains have bee fucked up by breeding only for THC at the expense of Terpenes, and other chemicals.

No strain has won the Emerald Cup that's tested over 22% THC since it started around 1992., and there have been many that have tested over 30%.
Ive smoked many 20% strains that blow 30% out of the water, and of course theyre are exceptions. Chemdog 91 VA being 1.

My buddy brought some stuff back from Colorado that tested 28%, and going by that, what we grow would have to be 40% because ours is much much stronger, but ours probably doesn't go past 20%, but is loaded with terpenes.

I was going to say something similar. I have a craft cannabis friend who I speak with a lot and he did a blind experiment with one of the local dispensaries.

He took in two different strains. One was really high THC. Over 30% lab tested. The other was just a shade under 20% but very high terpene content.

The dispensary sold out of the high terpene strain almost immediately and after a month they still had most of the high thc strain left and refused to take any more.

The lesson here is it’s not just sheer THC content that effects what makes a strain desirable.

If you compare it to alcohol you get a better picture. Do you always reach for grain alcohol when you drink or do you usually drink beer or wine? Sure liquor will get you drunk quicker but not many folks want to get smashed almost immediately and make a fool of themselves.

There’s something special about a good tasting beer, wine or mixed drink. It allows you to control your intake and enjoy the buzz. Not go straight to acting a fool.

I wouldn't put too much stock in these numbers, especially here in Colorado. The lab testing is a joke, with a disclosed margin for error of +/- 15%. That "28%" could actually be 13% and the result still be considered "valid". What's more, is the samples to be tested are carefully selected and prepared for the most desirable result. It's all gamesmanship and manipulation for the sake of marketing.

Agree on high THC% IS A JOKE, bought into some strains that were close to30% tested and the strains just didnt measure up. Too make matters worse they were leafy strains that were a pain to trim
