fyi Blue Dream is a clone only, it is not available in seed form. At best, you'll get a hybrid, at worst you'll get something completely unrelated.

On a semi-related note I just dropped some early 2000s Jack Herer pollen on a Santa Cruz Blue Dream, stoked to see what I find!

Not quite, I have blue dream sc seeds. And irrelevant of clone, one can reverse parent / clone to s1 any breed

The parents for Blue Dream no longer exist so nobody on the planet can produce legitimate Blue Dream seeds.

S1-ing a plant does not make clones of that plant. Finding a plant on the same level as the S1 parent could take 100s or 1000s or 10s of 1000s of seeds, if you ever found one (depends on the genetics).

No one is creating bluedream, we want to cross Bd with gg. Why would that be hard?
S1, from bluedream is very possible but why would one fuck with genetics of a perfectly good breed? I’m saying it’s possible, not impossible like. You mentioned.

Reversing absolutely produces offspring of the same genotype & chemotype as the parental clone. That is just fact.

Did you realize you can narrow genetic diversity through reversing? Do you know what a second-generation double-inbred line is. How about S3?

Do you know of anyone working S2's or S3's? Think I know of one dude in the industry who does S2's. But hell, I've seen S1's that romp the shit out of the original cuts lol

Putting reversals aside for a minute.... All you need is a sweet blueberry mom and a classic haze daddy or vice versa.

Blue dream is kinda simplistic.

This sentence just doesn't make any sense. If you didn't have the cut, then yeah maybe, but if you've got clones.... then you can reverse them and get seeds to produce offspring of the same genotype & chemotype as the original parents.

The whole "clone-only" thing is just kinda lame-ass.

A high school buddy of mine just scored some gg4 x blueberry = berryglue. Not quite the same but he’s sending them to me for free, so I can’t complain. Should be an interesting cross either way.

If you think re-creating a clone-only classic is as easy as finding two plants that have the same name as the original parents, you know nothing about genetics.

If this is true, why do people give a shit about clone-only genetics? Why do we have clones at all? If this were true we'd all trade seeds and seeds alone.

The fact is that clone-only plants are one in a million. Even if had the parents (you don't) you'd still have to grow mountains of seeds to find an individual on the level of an elite.

S1 / S2 / S3ing a plant does nothing but reduce vigor dramatically. You MIGHT find something like the original, but I doubt it.

Rather than telling me I don't know what I'm talking about - PROVE IT. Why don't you go ahead and reproduce Sour Diesel in seed form for us real quick. I mean, it's as easy as reversing it to itself a couple times, right? XD XD XD

Sorry buddy, but blue dream is about as simplistic as they come. You only need good male/female representations of blueberry and og haze. There's no magic in the lineage of blue dream lol. I don't care how much you kick and scream.
