I’m right behind you on this clowning deal I just took some cuttings five days ago and put them in my oxycloner or when I checked yesterday they barely have white nubs on the stem where roots are starting

6 days old at youngest... I'm pushing lights for the oldest but shading the youngest.

The 2 mothers Canna-Tsu and Crunch berry have finally met for the first time! They both have been showing signs of thrips... the crunch berry is much harder to see. Maybe a day old. But since I am treating both for thrips and using the same solutions I figured it was time they met. Rough first meeting. I strapped em both down with pipe cleaners per @jumpincactus suggestion, and I'm already less worried about the plant being damaged.(I switched from utility wire) Pipe cleaners are where its at. I also got some bags of polished stone to use as my ground cover. I like the zen affect.
Very nice. Looks good from my chair. :D Glad your digging the pipe cleaners. Ill try to dig up a pipe cleaner scrog from chaos on some BOGS sour bubble I did a few years back. My backs fokked so I did a entire scrog with PC's to save having to bend over. I had her in a 30 gallon bucket and had my stool and would just rotate the pot when I needed to get to the other side. Never had to stand and bend to do my training. Canopy measured 5 ft across the top. I was a pipe cleanin mofo……….. :D

@jumpincactus what do you think? I've sprayed for a boron deficiency and I defoliated all damaged or dying foliage. The other thing I was thinking was because of the thrips treatments it is getting hydrated way to often and drowning maybe? What are your thoughts?

Omerta.

I woke up this morning with a sense of dread, a sense of unhealthiness in my plants... what I had in my head was the cannatsu mom was turning dark, with curling tips and dying. I got up and went down... whew. It's still alive. Must've been a bad dream bleeding into reality. The story of my life lately. The lady's are doing well... ish. I'll put on a few pics and yall be the judges. Should I do another boron folier spray? The whole plant seems to be slightly darker, even the stem and limbs. Idk. Maybe I'm crazy (I am) but I'm pretty sure my eyes work ok. I have never hallucinated changing colors of things b4... take a gander at these and tell me what you think.

You can really see the curling tips from this angle. Is this boron deficiency?

Ok, I flushed with like 5 gal of water to get the soil ph out of acid. It wasn't red but it sure wasn't green. It looked like when I pee and am super dehydrated. TMI. Sorry. Lol. But accurate. I got the soil ph to 6. - 6.2 I ran outa water. So I left it there as it's better than where it was.

So much fun learning. And noob mistakes are fun to. So I have started learning early today.
Nope. Upon further investigation of what my plant is showing me for symptoms Its a nute burn. I'm gonna flush with clean ph'd water and wait.

Ok so while waiting I got bored and decided some of momma canna-tsu's branches could be better spaced out for optimal light. And while I've been strapping her down even further I believe she is starting to lighten up. Or I'm just used to what I'm looking at. Lol. Anywho. Here's a post flush +2hrs

And crunch berry momma started to show the same signs of what I believe at this time (could change at any point) is nute burn. I flushed her as well. Here's post flush pics +2hrs.

how often are you doing foliar treatments. You really only need to learn their life cycle and then treat in waves to make sure your getting all the eggs, nymphs & crawlers. In short yes you can go too far.

Tough part of thrips, that some folks don't realize. They actually peirce the plants tissue with their ovipositor and cut slits in the plants tissue and lay their eggs inside of the plant and with one treatment you may catch the new hatches and crawlers, but when the buried eggs hatch its off to the races again!!!! I personally hate thrips for that reason alone. They are tough to eradicate for good. If a systemic treatment approach isn't used.

I did twice a day for 2 or 3 days. But I haven't sprayed since yesterday... and I flushed today. No folier spraying.

Goodmorning!

No thoughts of dread or death and destruction this morning but actually excited to see the new growth. The nute burn I believe has been stopped! There is no new damage that I have seen. All the same tips are dark, but no progressive spreading death! The leaves are definitely getting a lighter green... the new growth is almost bright green. I hope this is healthy. Lol. I like it because of the contrast. Mmm I should take some B&W pic with my dslr camera. Way outperform on quality my phone camera. I'm an amateur photographer (not necessarily good) sharpening my skills on my plants... they are the perfect subjects, they move to where you put them, they stay there and as long as they are healthy they are beautiful at every stage of development. I truly enjoy just sitting and staring at them, watching them grow.

Oh, I had a fall out and reset in the clone ranks. I over watered and forgot to check the runoff catch of canna-tsu #4. She drowned last night but I am trying to resuscitate her. I found her stem rotted at soil level and below... I may have put her in too deep to begin with. I cut the rotten stem off and up past the first healthy node. I re-cinnamoned the cut and put her back into the soil. She is now in darkness until tonight, maybe tomorrow. I aerated the soil, it was too saturated and compacted.
I hope I dont start playing 99 bottles of beer on the wall with my clones. That would suck.

Yeah, if your leaves are dark green and the tip curls downwards, you got too much nitrogen. You probably already know that lol, but looks good bro
Thank you SoLowDolo,
It's been rough, literally theres changes almost hourly. Lol. But no struggle no reward.

Ok I believe they have all rooted to some extent, minus CB #4... she's a start over.
8 out of 9 isn't bad... 8 out of 13 or 14 attempts total... Meh. But I have clones yes!

When should I move my clone babies out of the nursery and into full vegg.

February 1 is my first thought of when to move them under my vegg light. I guess I'll just move em when they are ready.

I know I'm still waiting for my cannatsu momma to stabilize but how long should I wait before I need to add nutes again after the flush?
