No Ethos?
I grew a Relentless Big Easy OG (fem) last year and had crossed them off my list..it was just ok at best. Not something that I wanted to reverse for breeding.

Ethos has no terps or very little in the ones ive tried. Large and pretty ethos takes the cake but for flavor and quality of high they fail miserably.

The last ETHOS I tried to run had germ problems, not to mention the reports I see of hermaphrodite prone plants.

I've seen some negative reports on elev8 on other forums as well. I had thought about trying his GG4 as he was the only one who had them at the time but my research turned up quite a few horror stories. Since then i've never given them a second thought.

I do have a question about cookies though. Are they in any way hermie prone? I found a couple naners late in flowering but plucked them off so they didn't do any damage. They may have been sterile anyhow so i'm not sure if it would have mattered. Just curious. I grew out cookies n cream by exotic genetix. I've got another one going now from the same mother so i'll see if it happens again. I've done some searching online and have found a few people speak of it as a possible issue but nothing concrete. Just curious.
never tried Elev8 but saw them online when they first came out....never jumped on any, just waited for feedback from some folks and turns out was a bunch of hype...glad I never jumped on any, heard alot of bad feedback as well...

The first time i smoked a big fatty of MxP i was really blown away. The high came on really quick and it was really nice and thought provoking. And then the high changed twice while I was high and when it was over I was left normal with no residual feeling.
It is very strong and very effective.
The flavor of orangy/lemon incense is very unusual. Kind of like the aroma it has late in flower.
It was precious because of the low yield. I gave a few buds to select friends and every one of them was blown away. Most of them remember Panama Red from the 70s. They have not had smoke like that in this present age.
Low yield is not a commercial viable option so you have to grow it yourself.

And it is not haze...I like haze but a lot of hybrids taste like haze. It is refreshing to have a very different sativa taste.
I have 6 seeds left and I can not wait to run it again. I will have to try a scrog with this indoors :)

Out of curiosity has anyone grown Kwazulu? I have some fem freebies but....i know MxP is great this one i have no idea. Maybe i will have to run a quick run indoors to see what its like

Malawi X Panama is pure sativa. When left to grow outside it looks 100% sativa. But i didnt do much to it except top it while young and let it grow.
Ace does sell many sativa dominat hybrids but also F1 sativa crosses and landrace strains.
MxP was the sativa that made me get why people go through a 20 week flower for a low yield...I plan to do it myself. When i smoked it i realzied that i want to have more of these growing.

Lol that would be awesome.

I don’t mind giving pollen chuckers their fair share. But imo it should be more like $40-60/pack even for the most hyped strains and $20 for those that aren’t proven or have accolades.

But everyone is pricing their warez as if they’ve won every cannabis cup since it’s inception and these are for unproven random pollen chucks. But folks still pay it and some will argue that it should cost even more.

Of course they don’t want us getting our grubby mitts on good genetics and sharing amongst ourselves. And if you can’t see why then that’s on you.
The only point you made I disagree with is, if the line is chucked, untested and unproven then the packs should be gifts and nothing charged for them until the line is proven to have value and has been stabilized. Once it is shown to be worthy and worth looking in to then we can talk about $$$ for said line.

Oh absolutely. I agree wholeheartedly. Testing is key and that’s where most of the issues pop up. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to send out testers to folks to grow out and report back on. Stress testing is important as well. But then again if you aren’t going to cull a strain and your only goal is to cash in it then testing won’t make much of a difference. We need more integrity and we should support those who’ve earned it.

cant count how many beans we have gifted over the years....its not about the $....its about how we just want evryone to get stoned and be happy....everything we have has been proven...just cuz a strain online has a $200 price tag doesnt make it worthy, our stock rocks, and will stand behind it everytime....reckon sum folks just dont get it bro, alot of freebies is what u want, thats what u get dig?
