Experiments are never dumb. We experiment with the unknown to gain knowledge and experience. The world would not be the place it is without individuals ever wondering, "What if...".

Oh don’t get me wrong. I’m ok with my experiments being perceived as dumb or different. It doesn’t mean i’m dumb. People always reject what they can’t understand or what they can’t have. That’s just people. I like being perceived as crazy or dumb in my endeavours, that means i’m doing something that they haven’t thought of doing before. Failure is a form of success in scientific terms. I’m aware of that too.

Now with that said, keep a lookout for my dumb experiments :)

Stay weird brother. LMAO! Here's some shots of a mother daughter duo. Cutting on the left. Mother filled out nice. This is with a two year old hps bulb too. I'm so slacking with a replacement. They were in the dark before chop for 5 days. Again, my lazy ass not getting tending, but all looks great. Chopped last night.

I thought of doing something similar but chickened out. I was gonna just leave them in the pots until they were ready to be burped in jars. You know just let them dry in the pots. Would you rate your “vine ripened” buds better, same or worse compared to cut and hang dried buds?
much better taste and terps for sure.Atleast in my experience. :D

Nice. How do you go about this? Like i said? Just leave it till dry enough to be burped or what..
Heres my method, yes a tad involved but try it and you will be pleased with the extra effort. Once you determine your ripe and ready for harvest, trim all of your major fan leaves, much easier while plants are upright. I typicall don't water 3 to 4 days before terminating the grow. This also allows for a slight drought condition which some claim drives up potency. Not sure if true or not as this is anecdotal and never been proved as a science to the best of my knowledge.

Once major trimming is complete turn off lights be sure to place a humidifier in tent or groom and maintain approx. 60% Rh. The cooler the temps the better. Depending on head bud size and lower limbs I let them wither for 10-14 days. I remove the Rh source and allow to dry for another few days. Then do your final manicuring. If you still feel there is too much moisture in buds after this time put them on a drying rack or paper bags packed loosely for a few days then they hit the jars and burp for a few days. I after jarring use boveda 58 % packs for the long cure.

If you get it right you will be awestruck by the smoothness and taste of your stash. Once I tried it the 1st time. I have never looked back. Well worth the effort. You and your homies will agree.

Get back to me and let me know how it goes for ya. :D:smoking::fire:

I knew someone had thought of it before. :)

Thanks for the step by step. Its pretty much how i thought i’d do it but gives me comfort to know that you had success with it. I’ll utilize the technique this grow. My rh is always around 60 so it’ll be easier for me. Man, can’t wait :D

I definitely need to regulate Groom rh. To this point I've let it fluctuate with ambient seasons. Winter is a cool dry bitch. Steady 70°f, but the rh dips down to high 20's%. I barely get thru the grow. I cut and they crisp within a week. I try to retain that inner moisture and seal them in a tupperware within 10 days. Daily burp while I manicure and jar buds over the next few days. Always burping jars. In the summer, I hang a lot longer. Trim and bag for more airflow before jars. Slow and low for flavors fo sho. My personal stash is always about three months cured. Mmmmmm.

Strawberry cough...
Always yellows very early. Veg wonderful then third week flower begins to yellow. Haven't tried much to alleviate. Open to suggestions. Just thinking leave of general nutrition. Develops, but could be better. Blueberry and Deathstar both pretty much do their thing, so I'm thinking something specific to the Strawberry.
