Grow Log 05/25/19

I'm having a temporary cellular WiFi bandwidth shortage this month so I won't be posting almost daily for the next week, but I'll pick up again after the 30th.

I've culled a few males and weaker plants. The rest are strong or expressed female preflowers (tops chopped). Buying some fogger friendly pyrethrin next month and will finish inoculation before moving into the grow room. I sure hope I have enough lights for this.

The outdoor garden is doing well minus some hail damage.

I'm trying real hard to stay within the 6 plant or 12 seedlings limit by the law. I'm failing a wee bit by a couple and 8 sick clones but those really don't count, eh? Damn, I really gotta start a couple dozen more seeds.

Grow Log 05/30/19 (daily)

Culled the corner Jack Herer. There was something wrong with it from the very start. The main root mass was only about the 3" across and came up easily. I think the problem was in the roots.

Started 3 new beans.

Uzi Cookies, Jack Herer, Banana Crack

I'm really excited about the Banana Crack. It's a solid little sprout with very vigorous growth. It's already nearly 2x the sise of the other 2 hatchlings and the growth rate so fast there was a noticeable change when I checked every hour. She's going in her mother's spot in the garden to replace the Jack Herer that was culled.

Sorry about taking so long to respond. I havent logged on her for a few days.

If anyone were to question my plant count I'd tell them that only the strongest will be kept and most will be culled (true). The broad assortment gives me a better pool of genetics to pick from.

I'm glad I popped so many. Will be taking a lot of clones from the 3x Death by Kush, 2-4 Uzi Cookies, 1-2 Jack Herer, 2x K99, and hopefully a female Banana Crack. I'll be one happy camper if it's a fem. I'm probably going to chuck it if it goes male and I'm already designing an isolation chamber for it in the growroom just in case.

I think I'm the only one that doesn't like to get hit in the face anymore. I said it before and I'll say it again, I don't think there's anyone on the planet that smokes that's more of a lightweight than me. I literally just take one, half mini hit, blow it out right away and I'm high enough for half a day. One full hit held in to long knocks me out and I regret it. And oddly, I used to smoke damn near 1/8 oz. blunts all day everyday for years and loved it. I never thought I would ever quit smoking weed. Then my adult career happened and I stopped smoking for almost 15-20 years. I just started dabbling in it again recently because I've been out on injury for almost a year now. Man, things have changed since I've been out the game. I still absolutely love everything about it, I just have a hard time handling it. Needless to say I'm running out of time to build my tolerance back up. I'm almost cleared to return to work so smoking goes back on the back burner until retirement. Good news though I'm going to continue growing the best MJ possible for friends and family. In 8 years when I retire I plan to be a hippy pothead smoking and growing all day everyday. Most likely getting hit in the face again.....lol

When I moved to Holland in year 2000 for work, wasn’t for work as had work same or more money.
I was 23-24 and wanted to see world.
Made it over border one day to aken in Germany friend had been working Germany for twenty years and used same bank never even got out of car lol.
In those days there were still bars that you could smoke and drink beer.
Every one else smoked a joint to self( but not tabaco free).
I learned to have what I enjoyed as head on table was not a good look.
These days I’m more tolerant but the weed is more forgiving these days.
The Dutch seen at time was saturated with heavy hitters that were comersially viable.
I prefer the offerings on table now

Hello! So that bug is good?I have them on my leaves in my garden,i was wondering if I should spray with something……...I also have those...aphids on the same plant's stems, lots of them,in fact hole infestation of aphids on few of my plants:/And these along with the aphids.I wasnt sure if they are good, looks like they don't eat leaves?so I left them till I understand what are they but I don't know their name to check it.....It is not marijuana I am talking about, just some other plant.

If that’s not your problem there is something eating your leaves. The white spots look like spider mite damage they live on underside of leaf normally but are very small. Turn leaf over there that small could mistake for dust till you notice there moving. Jewellery loupe or 30-60 hand held magnifying glass will led could help.
Ants like affids that much think they secrete honey dew but don’t quote me running on memory here. They actually kidnap them then force them to create more in the ant hill or any home lol, strange but true .

I think I may be noticed ants on the previous infestation.Than I sprayed with some..home made pesticide.Looks like it worked but who knows,it is rainy, rains almost every day...…….Yes,it was looking like they were eating them or something but they weren't enough.Just too much aphids:)I guess these bugs here wont be enough to stop them either but good to know if they are beneficial for the garden......

That's a ladybug larva, very good for you. One of the most voracious baddie hunters there is.

Ants will fiercely protect ant cows (aphids) from good predators as well.

Diatomacious earth at the base of the plant and spray plant with Captain Jack's Dead Bug (spinosad). I suggest spinosad cause it's almost completely non-toxic to humans/mammals.
