That's very cool! I hope I get to see some. Got excited today when I saw the water level go down ..I think it just evaporated in the heat, but you never know. The red color also helps me tell if something was messing around and drinking..LOL
My wife had taken pics of the nest last year and I had her send them to me. Not great shots but you get the idea.

Outstanding!
Thank You for Sharing....Nature has so many wonders and TBH it took me way too many years to appreciate them.
The main reason we have the wildlife and insect life is no chemicals. I use vinegar and salt for weeds in cracks in the patio and around the pool. I use to use aphid spray for our miniature roses so I got rid of the roses. We have praying mantis, small but still, two species of lizards, skinks, snakes, frogs, toads, I haven't seen any newts but it wouldn't surprise me, birds like crazy, etc.

I grew up in a suburb of LA and remember all the wildlife we had in the 60's. Frogs and toads every spring, lizards basking in the summer sun. All gone by the time I turned 10 because of all the poison and weed killer people were using. Hell, I even appreciate most spiders. Gophers and ground squirrels can DIE! 😉

Just be glad you appreciate it now. It's truly amazing and brings me tons of joy and wonderment.

Some seeds I made a couple years ago that I've finally ended up cracking this spring at the beginning of May. Its a cross between CSI Bubbas Girl(F) and Obsoul33t Orange Legend Og testers(M). About 3.5 ft tall right now. I'm really excited for the fall time. 😀

my guerilla gardens:)Next time I have to spray for septoria(I use only home made things, not chemicals of any sort but it is really hard to get rid of septoria).Thankjs God it is dry now and it stops in the hottest days.In the bag-old alfalfa from the goats:)I used that for mulch. And I have to use stakes and cucumber nets somehow next time...:/I think they will start flower soon(hope so),some of them are stated as "fast"(not auto).

These are my four legal plants. We're allowed for plants per household in Canada. I've had these out since first of May. They're about 4 to 5 feet and looking good. Divine Genetics Bubba kush x GSC and Geisel x GSC.

They're very pretty is what they are. Looks like flowers to me. Nice. I've got one 3 weeks from finishing.

Two of her sisters are back to vegging, one full of seeds. Go figure. This is a first for me.

Weird weather this year and an early start. Planted seeds end of Feb and popped first week of March.
