Pics 1,2,3,4 unfortunately are def male(may be its the same plant?)But the other 3 looks like females.:)
thanks Ina...not same plant sad to say. They are 16 weeks old and never showed any sign of sex til now. Suddenly, balls everywhere! oh well, at least I won’t end up with several pounds that I can never use up but I did want to try some if these strains. Reminder to just go fem from now on.

Yep, no hermies that I know for sure but they seem to throw lotta males. I now have one firefly female....time to bust out the surgical scalpels and start cloning.
I guess I was lucky and got one female with the one Arise bean that germinated. Hopefully the other four were males and took an honorable death before wasting dirt. As an aside, the fem Michelangelo is super terpy and smells like freshly peeled oranges or overripe mango/cantaloupe

Firefly clones...hope to get one or two outside in time for a late harvest. No frost here, normally, til at least Nov, so should have some time. Maybe put a couple in the tent, too. PS...bathed in Rootshield which arrived yesterday. 😁.

After looking at all these pics one thing I’m going to try next year is setting up a raised garden bed. I’ll keep the bottom open so the roots can grow into the soil beneath.

I was thinking square garden beds with 4 ft sides maybe about 2 or 3 feet tall. I’ll make the walls from some galvanized 2”x4”mesh wire farm fencing and line the inside with landscape fabric.

Does anyone think I would notice a difference with a raised garden bed for a plant rather than just planting straight in the ground??

One thing I know is my dog wouldn’t be able to step on a plant this way 😂

How is stomp doing now? I nicknamed her !!!
Hahah great name for it! And she’s doing great! My brother has this clone that’s been growing for longer than any of my plants and the stomp practically died, came back to life and is now bigger than that clone.

She will have a nice yield, but not as nice as it could’ve been unfortunately. YA WIN SOME YA LOSE SOME 😉
