I just cut down my grow four weeks into bloom.... my cancer is back and it has spread to my liver.. I'm very sick and can't take care of my plants anymore... I don't have much longer to live... after 24 years growing, it's the end of an era. I've enjoyed hanging out with you guys and posting pictures of my stuff...I'll probably lurk around in here to see what you guys are up to... cheers everybody and keep the green stuff growing

very cool of you to post ur problems and lifes issues here with the community, that by its self is an accomplishment, even tho we are online and dont really know each other in person, we do know that we are all good people and care about each other... just want to say that we all are thinking of you and your time of need, u are in our prayers and everyday life ~

New round of seedlings chugging along. Just hope they don't get too big before I can flip them.

This is what my ladies look like now outside 😭😭..I don't know if it will be good smoke
Yeah, trim off the leaves, dry and cure for a few weeks and should be fine. A whole lot better than no smoke. Won't be a lot but as long as you learned from this you'll be fine.

It seems to me that far too many try growing, don't get the results they wanted and throw in the towel. The vast majority of growers have been there but we didn't quit. We learned, asked questions and tried again.

Now even though flowers aren't several grams each trust me, it will be good because you put your time and effort into it. Nothing like smoking what you grew and in the future, if you stay at it you'll do better each time. Don't worry, there's a ton of shit that can go wrong, bugs, disease, animals, hell, last year the squirrels and gophers had a party and left me out. Laughed at me every time I left for the dispensary. They'd pop their furry heads out of their holes, pointed and laughed. Bastards.

When the time comes to take that first curred hit you'll remember what I said.😉

Life and death. Both can suck. Most are afraid of dying and there's a few of us who have made peace with the idea. After a hard lived life I have made my peace. Being afraid kills the time one has left. Screw that, I wish you lived near me, I'd pick your ass up and take you parting and get you higher than you've ever been and I'd keep doing it every chance I got.

Almost 10 years ago I lost a good friend. Stage 4 cancer. They put a tube in his throat and he couldn't talk. Pissed me off. I brought a bottle of his favorite scotch and his daughter sipped her finger in and gave him a taste. Many nights we sat and sipped that scotch shooting the shit.

That's the pisser about death, we're selfish pricks. We mourn and cry and miss those we've lost yet that person is no longer in pain or fighting some horrible disease. We feel sorry for ourselves, our loss. Selfish pricks.

Hoping you've made your peace with the only one who really matters in this life, and the next!

Prayers bro.
