Very nice looking plants man! How long do you veg in the crates before flowering?

I wanted mothers of the ZxK so they went 37 days or so but I transplanted them from 5 gallon buckets 5 days prior to flowering. The JH plants have been around for 3 months because I wanted mothers again but they are fussy so I just flowered them as well.

This is supposed to be a 36 plant SOG but I haven't found mothers yet lol.

Do you plan to play with the moisture gradient?

I plan to try lol. Been reading a bit about dryback levels in flower and seen a few people suggesting to keep it at 40-60% saturation levels in flower with the only runoff cycle the last one before lights out.
But I'm not sure yet how I'm gonna actually do it. Kind of a guessing game without a GroSens.

I always kept the a little more wet in flower vs veg. Flower you will have a much finer line between PPM shooting up in the block with dialed waterings. Without monitoring or really being in there everyday checking everything it's kind of a chore and not something I wished to ever do with the amount of plants I had.

I have been flooding every five days, at 6 they begin to wilt, to let them dry out as much as possible without causing stress. My mentor has some Grosens like meters but I don't believe he uses them or at the least doesn't attempt crop steering.

For real? Switching from hugos to 1 gal coco's same plant number I use 3x the amount of nutes in veg now.

With the Growpito I flood from a 55 gallon every three days in veg and every 5 in flower. I use about 25 gallons in 2.5 weeks and a .7 EC of Mega Crop. I like it but it's cost prohibitive for most people and took me awhile to figure out starting seeds in.

Interesting. Some people feeding 3-5 times a day in small containers, some feeding once every 5 days in big containers. Seems more versatile than I originally thought.

With the hugo I'll be keeping them more on the wet side I think. But again I find it cool how it can be treated just like promix really if that's how you want to do it.

I'm going through 40 gals every 3-4 days with 1 gal coco pots and I havent even had my veg room/clones/moms loaded to the max like it should yet. Good thing my nutes are less then a penny a gal. Hugos 40 gals would last me 7 days or so loaded to the max.

I'm too poor for all that water lol. This is two week vacation rockwool lol. I only flood 30% to reach wilting at six days. If the price ever comes down I would brag about it more but that is yet to be seen.

Jesus, between working on my dead truck and putting in this irrigation I ended up back on pharmaceuticals.

Had to go to the ER today, completely immobilized from back pain. Got the same old runaround, sciatic nerve bla bla bla.. cyclobenzeprene is about the only thing that snaps me out of these episodes.

Thank God the plants are watering themselves for a while...

Muscle relaxer... They give me that with hydromorphone. The combo works well but my mind does not when taking them. Unfortunately like you getting my room torn down, sterilized and almost back together I'm on the pills. Only once a day I can make until evening before I can hardly walk. Usually in 2-3 weeks at this point. Hope ya recoupe fast bro. Hot baths, lots of stretching and the old hot water bottle helps keep the muscle spams down for me.

Sorry to hear that. And sharing your pain.

Is yours from squatting too? lol
mine went out on me at the bottom of a 320 pound squat about 5 years ago. Too much weight for no juice haha.

Docs wont give me or seemingly anyone else around here hydromorphone. They've become real opiate misers here the last few years, they dont give it to anyone it seems. I just get the cyclo and they tell me to take a ton of tylenol for the pain. And honestly I'm fine with that... I enjoy the effects of morphine a little too much and dont really need it as much I do the muscle relaxer, I need the cyclo, so probably best to not get the opiate unless I really need it. But every now and then when it's really bad they do give me an injection of hydromorphone. Just no script.

Well I'm awaiting surgery so they consider it pain management at this point. Also my 1 month prescription last about 4 months so I doubt they think I have an issue with em and my doc know how much I hate em but at the same time I need them from time to time.

Mine is from years of abuse working in the railway and an acute injury about 15yrs ago where I was walking across a 10foot high pile of brake beams in the yard covered in snow while carrying a pipe bracket with valves on it... about 130lbs.Not smart. I fell and fucked my back badly. They only did x-rays and the disc did not show up so it was months later after rehab I found out. Long story short I skipped out on surgery. I regret that now but went 15 more years before it's now a must.

Do you hydro guys think I'll need to flip these sooner than I normally would in promix? I usually get the space 80% filled before flip, but if these really go nuts that could end up overcrowded..

Definitely faster than pro mix but I can say how much... Only 1 grow in it with a new strain and not done yet.

Wired for sound. They're definitely draining the block down to 50% every day now. LOVING the automated watering.

Seems on track to flip next weekend.
