I didnt know it held water and could keep a plant alive that long. That alleviates my problem.
And i could use the little cubes in my containers and still move the plants.
Maybe i will hand water one to see one of these days. Thanks for the info.
It's the only way I would ever do it, With DWC, NFT, or hydroton there is a really small window to get backup power going.
Power goes out with rockwool and the plant stops transpiring until you get backup lights and power going anyway. No need to worry about aerating pumps or anything like that going out.
Honestly, it's really not much more complicated than running soiless as far as I can tell. There is a learning curve for sure but it's not that bad.
