First time grower. What you guys think?

You mean 2 knuckles deep?

For those pots you would need 6 knuckles deep for it to be actually dry.

Once the roots are overwatered they become more and more sensitive to it.

Oh ok so you’re like 7-10 days behind mine. That makes me feel like we’re both on the right track because mine were pretty close to yours at that age maybe a tad bit bigger but I’m only growing 1 plant under 450 watts of light.

This is mine. She’s like 6.5-7 weeks since germ but if you saw it 2 weeks ago it was pretty much just like yours.

Thanks dude! For the most part it should. I trained mine a bit so it looks more like a Bush than a Christmas tree but it should definitely thicken up over the next 2 weeks for sure.

I got all my info from @MIMedGrower @Aqua Man @Dirtbag for the most part and then I had to tinker a bit on my own cause it’s just my nature but I’ve got to credit my “success” to this forum and those folks specifically. I’d have probably experimented this poor plant to death had it not been for good ol’ thcfarmer. Love this forum.

I’ve just got a 300 watt viparspectra a 150 watt ghetto amazon led that I actually really like. A cheap fan for circulation and a homemade 2x2x5 tent that I made from pvc, black plastic, and Mylar. Then I’ve got a J1 plant from seed in a 5 gallon smart pot and that’s the whole Shabang. Feeding according to the Lucas formula with an added dose of super thrive once a month just cause I like the stuff in half RO half tap water ph’ed to 6.5 with PPMs between 750-800 usually and that’s my whole set up.

Well there are a whole lot of directionally challenged people in this world. We all start out that way it's our ability to read maps and create shortcuts at times and know when to stay on the main road others that is important. Not all info on the net is good info... Myself included. So I can't really blame anyone for taking the route they feel is best for them.
