The worst part is its my own fault. I always pick up every bag and see if it fluffs up. These are concrete. I let the kid load them because my back is healing.

Lol. Still carried them into the house.

Owner didnt call me back but she was not at the store today.

Potting soil hunt tomorrow I guess. I might just end up with ocean forest from our small town video, pool, and head shop. They always have a pallete of of inside. I stipped buying there because it was slow there and the bags got old.

But now we have rec and everyone and their Grandma is growing.

i have plenty of perlite. Just didnt want to mix it with my injury healing.

I have been going through this with different shops (all at least a half hour away) for the last few years.

When I ordered perlite it was left in the back room for me so i figured they would care for my ordered soil.

Now its an emergency. I am almost out of the ocean forest and perlite i was using.

What can ya do?

I have a hard time getting good perlite too but i lucked out one day at this random store and got a huge bag of the large chunky without hardly and dusty shit.I only put 2 inches in the bottom of my flower containers so its gonna last me a minute.I rarely mix any in my coco anymore.if you see perlite in my veg buckets its from a tote of recycled coco I use

How bout a plant pic?

Topfilled the front seedling just now and watered. After the first week i like to bury the stem of the stretching seedling. I leave a small gap at the top for this purpose. The back one was done days ago. They dont tend to keep stretching after this.

Plant front right is a little shaken up. I had to lower her. I restacked some stands right before the pic. They are growing an inch a day now.

A friend spun out on ice and went backwards into a ditch and rolled. No major injuries for him or his wife. Amazing.

He is all bruised up and it happened last month. He dodnt tell me til today. I am putting together a care package for him.

Man that Jeep was mint last i saw. It was lifted and now had a bad ass light bar on the roof. We were supposed to go blast around the sand dunes next to Lake Michigan.

I have 3/4 bag of Mother Earth #4 chunky perlite. Looks like fox farms perlite. And i have a bag of small perlite. I notice that the mothers earth groundswell uses both sizes. I may play around with that some.

yes they sent me a bioligist to talk too,i havent emailed here yet,shit after seeing what they suggest for my area im probally not ,the hp cc was what they suggest for extreme heats,85 bills for a bail ,damn proud that stuff these days.

I had no gardening knowledge at all when i started growing. The pro mix (premier horticulture) learning center gave me a hell of an education. Just not about marijuanna. But about food and flower production.

you keep looking and there is a cannbis section there bro ,least i seen one yesterday they had a video on cannnibis growing too,i watch the vid on peppers and the one on mycoand other soil mixs they have,but i did see were they had vids of cannibis growers too

Maybe too much PK (bloom nute)?

Definitely too much rather than too little I think.

@MIMedGrower I've been wondering about this even before that thread this morning let me see if this makes sense to you?

We both use ffof and I'm wondering how you don't pH with your 8.0 / 150 PPM water

I suspect that because you water with your pH that high is why your runoff doesn't get low late in your grows?

..does this make sense?

Because I feed at 6.4 or 6.5 and if I don't add Dolomite then late in my grow my pH is going to drop into the mid and sometimes even the low fives

I suppose I'll have to do a test plant and water it with my 8.9 / 100 PPM tap and see how it goes. I won't add any Dolomite to the test plant

I would be a lot more concerned with the chlorine than the 8.9 PH

I think most of us let our water sit for a few days to eliminate most of the chlorine and in all the years I've been growing the chloramine hasn't caused any issue either but thank you for your concern
