KC39 #2 is done today 10 days after her sister. Trimmed and ready to hang.
Update Jan 29 I've been busy of late and not able to keep up with my diary. I have 2 Cherry Bomb girls 9.5 weeks into flower and 2 more at 7.5 weeks, House smells like my grow room, really noticeable when we leave and come home again lol I guess some ventilation / filtration is in order. Na fk it I like the smell and candles pretty well masks the smell if it needs to be.

I had 7 unsexed plants growing in 1 gallon pots after sexing them by putting them in the flower room for 2 days I ended up with 1 Chem Dawg and 1 Galiano Candy. I transplanted them into 3 gallon pots and I'm re vegging them on 24 hrs light with 10-11 hrs under the 1000 w hps then the rest of the time under florescent on top, cfl's and a led side lights.

The Galiano continues to grow buds and stretched a lot over the 3 days in flower and this last week back in veg. The chem dawg stretched out but didn't go to bud like GC and they've filled in more. These 2 fkers are going to have to get big before I finnely turn them for good because I'll only have 2 flowering plants under the 1000w. I have them tied down and bent where needed so now to let them grow for another month or so 10 hrs in flower room 14 in veg room

I've been busy building things around the house, with snow and cold weather I've been in my work shop, A neibourgh is a carpenter/contractor with a dumpster I went diving in.This summer I pulled out 100's of feet of decking pieces of 2x8's-2x6's 2x4's short 3-4 ft pine boards I turned into a garbage box, built a desk for my wife, a couple of different steps/ stools and a new table and grow box for seedlings all from that reclaimed lumber.

This new box I bought a 2 tube x 2ft t5 50 w high output florescent light fixture. Not sure what I should do for ventilation as it's pretty well sealed for light escaping or will be once I've wrapped it in black plastic. Any suggestions on what I can do for ventilating this small propigator/ seedling box would help. Its 25" x 17" x 27" tall with panda plastic linning the inside and out.

Cool little box. I'm thinking drill some holes in the floor of the box to let air in and some duct to let air out. Some black ducting with a bend or two so light doesn't reflect in. And wrap the stand on the box with something (curtain or plastic) so light doesn't get in through your inlet holes. Or some regular duct with an extraction fan, that should block incoming light.

Thanks,I looked at small fans out of computers / xbox cheap like $10-12 new but I think its over kill. I think just cool in the bottom and warm out the top might work, I have some black 1.25" flex tubing I can cut and put in. I'm not worried about light in but light out is more of a concern. I can't contaminate my flower room, I like all 3 of my spaces light proof no light out. I have very little space to work with but I'm happy with my setup now that I have created this new box I don't need to use my small veg room for seedlings and cuttings. I threw a small blanket over it tonight I just got the light today so still a bit of fiddling with it to seal it up. The humidity and temp are perfect with the small bit of heat off the lights giving me 75f and 55%. I can add a wet sponge in a cup to increase H if needed.

Nice Cat! My black one loves the snow... sort of a black comet when he runs thru the snow!
That's my buddy Coal. He was swimming in it when it was over a foot tall in places. He's a leash trained house cat, After it snowed and I was out shoveling I let him off the leash I thought he'd stay on the shoveled pathway only to find him tearing through the snow without a care for the pathway or how deep it was. He really seems to like the snow, the cold windy wet days not so much and he drives us nuts when he's stuck inside with his yapping and scratching trying to get attention or trying to kill our other timid, old female cat.

Cherry Bomb at 10 weeks, trimmed and ready to cut. I have 1 other Ill trim down tomorrow.

Galiano Candy about 7 weeks old from seed, 3 days on 11/13 to sex then back on 24 hr light. She keeps on wanting to flower but I'm not going to let her for another month, it'll be fun to see how she handles it. The same seeds developed a monster last time I hope she is the same.

Chem dawg 7 weeks ols from seed 3 days on 11/13 then back on 24 hrs light. She is filling in more than the GC and I hope to take a bunch of clones of her. Having 7 plants turn into 2 females is no fun, I'll keep them going via clones for a while.

I happy with my little grow den now with my 3 separate areas in such a small space, I've hurt my arm patting myself on the back😃

I thought after sexing my plants I had 3 fems, I transplanted them into 3 gallon pots and for a week I thought I had 3 until a few days ago I was watering and pulled a dead leaf of and WTF? BALLS oh no I'm down to 2. So I pulled it out of the room and put him on the cold side out between rooms where there's no heat. freezing in there or close to it but he keeps living so its out into the green house with him. Lets see how he likes Topthat.

Upgraded my new grow box with a ventilation fan. I pulled an pc fan from an old xbox hooked it to a 12 v supply, built a frame for it and hot glued it in place. Now I'm looking for a timer where I can run it for 2-3 minutes every half hr but most cheap timers are 24 hr and not programmable enough to do what I want. I'm searching for a 1 hr timer I can put on a loop. Ah Amazon shop from home and put small business out of business.

Arrg. first pests in years, looks like Spider mites, Sprayed with Dr.Broomers soap, I guess it will be weekly maintenance on the little bastards for a while. I'll have to do a complete bleaching and cleaning again in both veg and flower rooms and hopefully eradicate the little blood suckers. I'm surprised its taken so long this time, its hard to keep the grow spotless, constantly tracking in dirt, grass, mud from outside. I try to keep my grow area clean of soil on the floor and use a separate room to transplant in but still shit tracks in.

The male I put outside in the little greenhouse hasn't done very well

I'm hoping not. I have a old programable time with a whole bunch of programs but I've lost the cover with the instructions. I've spent a bunch of stoned time trying to figure it out but if I push the wrong buttons in the wrong order I'm back to the beginning again and after doing that a few times I quit. I'm hoping this new one with ( what looks like ) a massive manual I can step by step figure it out.

I've been running my flower lights 11/13 for this run on my Cherry Bomb clones and I'm not impressed with the results so far. The first 2 at 10.5 weeks are now drying but not all the buds are as solid as I'd like. It threw my watering and feedings off by not going through the water fast enough, on 12/12 I water every 3-4 days on 11/13 it was 5-6 days. I'm not 100% the 11/13 is completely responcible but I'm going back to 12/12 for my next run and I'll see if the buds tighten up more.

Fk always something, This morning 10% humidity in flower room, no panic but tooooo low especially because I put my vegging plants in there through the day. Added humidifier that brought it up to 35% pretty quick. Just a bit shocked to see it so low here, that's lip cracking dry and it just fking rained a bunch before it froze solid at -10c then add some wind and FK its cold outside.

Again with a FK me, I make a point of checking all my plugs and connections timers, junction boxes, extension cords almost daily at lights out in flower room. Making sure everything is connected and tight, ( old habit from shipyard days ) and last night grabbing the connection for the 1000w ballast at the timer it was hot and went zzzzit zzzit zzzzzt when I touched it. Not good! not just warm as it should be but bakelite smelling burning electric hot. Ah fk.
With the infinite wisdom of powers that be they decided the standard 3 prong connection off the ballast isn't safe (?) So they make a male end that requires an adapter to connect to the standard 3 prong plug. Now instead of a plug going into a socket you have to plug the ballast into an adapter then into the socket creating a heat source in an unnecessary adapter. Also adding weight on the plug at the socket.

Any ways, I chopped off the male end of the ballast with its fked up odd ball male end and attached a proper 3 prong standard male end plugged it in and heat source eliminated, fire averted.

I don't know if I would do that friend I'm not an electrician but I do have a license to work with high voltage Transformers in the heating industry, I'm not exactly sure what you've done but I don't think I would actually make that type of a change, I would have bought another cord there like 10, 12 bucks

Searched Amazon for '1000 watt ballast replacement cord' and found a bunch but some are 110 and some are 220V so I didn't link

No problem, electrician for over 30 years, Its just a replacement of both ends M/F instead of a odd ball 120v connection I replaced them with standard 3 prong sockets. Now without an adapter in between and the source of the lose connection is gone.

Feb 11 update, Cherry bomb clones 3 & 4 are done, flushing done I'll chop when soil is dry and I've trimmed off all the leaf I don't want to dry on the plants.

Galiano Candy doesn't want to revert back to veg. On 24 hrs light for + 3 weeks and its still wants to flower. I was hoping to split it a few times but there's no where to do that. It has some lower shoots that have grown up without going to flower. I'll take them for clones and do some splitting with her baby's that I can't do to mamma. @ 10 weeks from seed

Chem Dawg Growing well split numerous times, clones growing and I'll take more before I flip her this week @ 10 weeks from seed today

KC 39 # 1 & 2 both healthy @ 3.5 weeks from seed

If all the leaves look wet its because It was their second Spider mite treatment with Dr. Broomers soap. After last weeks spray bath I haven't seen any, I plucked any leaves I could see that had marks on them and washed them again today. I'll keep watching through the week. After I harvest CB 1& 2 this week I'm bleach bombing the entire grow area 1 half at a time. Then we'll see if the little fkers are terminated or not.

MC 1 & 2 both healthy @ 3.5 weeks from seed. I'm taking a chance on these, They come from a KC 39 or a Cherry Bomb that picked up pollen from a male Galiano Candy that popped a 1 or 2 flowers before I pulled it. Both the Cherry Bomb and the KC39 had a few seeds ( 6-7 ) in each plant, a few went pop but I've saved a few and these are from those seeds. MC for their birth place.

I got my new timer for my grow box. 1 min on 30 min off on a loop. It'll give my new seedling / clone box fresh air every half hour.

Just another white day in Nova Scotia

WTF is going on with February? Last night at lights out I was down tucking in my plants and the 1000w light didn't go out at 8pm as it should have. So I go check the timer and it showed I had 12 more hrs before lights went out wtf the light has been on for 24 hrs because the timer hasn't moved since I set it after my electrical scare. So this timer is fked too, that's 2 timers in 2 days for different reasons.

Feb 14 update the last of the Cherry Bomb girls are done trimmed off today, I'll cut and hang tomorrow, I'll let the pot dry out a bit more.
I took some clones off the Chemdog yesterday and placed them in my new light box. A few hours later I checked to find I'd fried 4 of them. Too close to the light, I soaked a paper towel in water and covered them, this morning 3 have perked up, one not so much. Note to self DON"T FRY CUTTINGS by putting them so close to the lights.

Short little plants but they've got some nice hard pine cone buds that smell sweet.
