CBD, Snake oil of our time?

Yeah, I had a lot of the same questions. I questioned her if she was talking about decarb'd/activated thc or thc-A, and she was adamant that no, she meant fully active decarboxylated delta 9 thc, large doses can be taken rectally and the most people are reporting is some mild euphoria, but nothing like you'd expect ingesting 1000mg of thc orally. But the activated thc is still being transferred to the bloodstream in greater amounts than you absorb orally even.
She did admit that they arent sure why there is a lack of mental effects and that the liver bypass is suspected as being at least partly the reason, but they're still learning.

Anyway, again I could be wrong, but that's pretty much verbatim what my doc told me. I dont see myself testing out her theory any time soon lol.

I have already put my entire stash up my butt for testing.

In my opinion the complete full spec cdb witch does contain a small amount of thc may be beneficial, the stuff u buy at a medical dispensarie, the stuff they sell online is snake oil, it's made from industrial hemp if ur lucky, not from a true cannabis indica or sativa plant, my state did a study bought a whole bunch of cdb oil and tested it, some had no cdb whatsoever, other samples were industrial hemp seed oil, i swear by cannabis for pain insomnia and crazy ass mucle spasms, thats why i grow, i look at my plants as 1 part of a whole, in other words i grow certain strains to get the whole strain profile and look at it as medication, but of course its not just thc that helps it's the strain of cannabis as a whole not thc content. Thats not what there selling on the Internet.

This year's big money maker is CBG they are finding a lot of new information on different cannabinoids every day.

We are running a 100% THC free, high CBG strain of hemp this year.

Personally I think most CBD products are rip offs. Not because CBD doesn't work but mostly due to poor absorption of it. I make my own CBD topical cream and if you don't use DMSO your body will hardly absorb any of it.

I used to use a pain cream with DMSO and my wife and a couple buddies from work could smell a mile away. Many people, including myself, couldn't detect anything odd. Crazy! It worked too and I thought I would try lying about not using it and my wife would immediately call me out. They found it repulsive HAHAHA! It was quite odd to me. Have you ever had anybody say that about your rub?

Newbies , it’s like the whole industry not wanting to have the whole cannabinoids and spend extra cash to damage it to get just vs all? Rick Simpson or other extracts make way better sense and this current one cannabinoids only and no “ thc or certain cannabinoids %” market will be a short game, one day we will be able to use w/e we want ( one day , if not fuck em .. never stopped the black market . Piddly doses of 10mg won't do a thing, especially if the product was made using CBD isolate. I don't feel any different until I get up into the 250-300 mg per day range. I'm lucky that I work at a hemp extraction facility so that I can nab all the free gummies I want to be able to get to that dose. At this rate I'd be spending almost $50 every 4 or 5 days for a tincture with 1,500 mg in it. Without the full synergy of multiple cannabinoids in one product, CBD is most definitely snake oil. There are even pillows with CBD in them somehow

So you feel that he's not entitled to his own opinion about CBD? trying to understand. I owned well co-own a smoke shop Waco, Texas and we sold cheap CBD oil, gummies and tinctures. All of which were basically the garbage kind. Now I've never experienced the quality CBD so they could be some benefits to it don't know but it's like vitamins. If you go to the grocery store Walmart to get vitamins. You're basically wasting your money because the majority of the stuff they sell in stores your body only uses 10% of it and the other 90% goes to waste.
People would run into the shop sick wanting vitamin C so they can get better because they didn't want to take any medication. Later that day or day later we see him talking about how the vitamin work for him and I'm just looking at him like you're full of it. You basically have to take vitamin C for 2 weeks before your receptors begin opening enough to start using it. I feel it's that way with the CBD. I feel that it assist soorting ailments but the majority of the people swearing by them are chasing a placebo.

Yes it can be an issue for some people. Even if you include fragrances in it, some people report having a sour milk or garlic smell and taste. This mostly depends on how much you are using, and how frequently. I don't believe anyone has found a way to solve this side effect, yet.
