No offence meant here just my opinion from 37 years in the “industry”.

Wait until you get past the learning curve and grow real high quality flowers. Took me a while to have the patience and care to truly get some potential out of these seeds and cuts. But no weed sold for commercial purposes will likely match it. Proper weed hits hard and lasts for hours. And it has not been sprayed with even preventative pesticides. Or pumped with nutes. And it tastes and smells smooth and strong. Takes too much time to do if money is the focus. And you can sell lesser flowers to most people. They want convenience and price before true quality.
Re the learning curve, I had read that saying about your third grow being your first grow I don't know how many times. I never paid it any mind because nowadays we have all this information. Well, being on my second I now totally agree. It might even take me till my fourth or fifth...

I can add that commercial weed is not vintage either. At least what i’ve seen is cured quickly and sold. While i grow year to year its nice to have anejo and reposado jars.

I have never kept it that long. I think it peaks at a couple months in the jar. A few more and it starts to degrade. I guess it can be vac packed but it doesnt stay around here that long anyway.

Yeah someone told me that. Takes 3 grows to really see how it works. Its just a number though. Some are prodegies. Some learn slower. Im still learning all the time.

Agree on the learning all the time. Not sure I'll ever be quite satisfied lol. Tried almost everything except aeroponics and rockwool. Now back in soil, doing as little as possible and doing better than I've ever done. Go figure.

That seems like how it goes.
I'm old, well older than most of youuns, 62. I've grown every way known to man.
I too am back in black, soil that is.
I've managed to get some form of flower from every venture, but yield comes from soil. Big, bulk soil.
If I'm gonna fart around for 3 or 4 months might as well pull lbs. not ozs.

That hash guy was telling me the hash and weed isn’t as good today because it doesn’t sit around for two years lol

I had to go into the, wallys super center in the city yesterday.
It's strange the items gone.
If it's hard to make its still on the shelf.
Whole cereal isle gone. Frozen section, defrosted!
Water, of course a desert.
Meat, gone.
1 death in our state and they are freaking. I think we had 250 die from flu.
A close friend of ours had surgery yesterday, reason we went to the city.
I filled up gas cans for her, bought her some more ammo and changed her locks.
I cannot grasp the draw to live in a big city, I'm 62, from Cali, the watts riots. Rodney King, the recession.
I've never seen this level of kaos.

On a lighter note, I paid $1.21 for gas.

I live by city but not in, gas 1.89 here so went ahead & filled up this morning. Hopefully most of what I want is in stock, its nonessentials so I have a chance at least

Its interesting, growing up granny had a bountiful pantry. I used to help her rotate it and gather from it in slow times.
I'm grateful she taught me this habit of living prepared.
I do not understand how folks can go through life and not care if the sun comes up tommorrow. Untill it doesn't.

I miss living in middle of nowhere on a farm, growing your own veggies, fruits, taking care of the animals, used to have new pig every year, always named Groceries lol

Well, time to bust out some storage and prepare for my last trip to the city for a while!
I hope.

California locked down last night.
Washington supposedly is locking down at noon today.
Rumor is Oregon will follow suit shortly after.
It is coming to light at this point the youngins are more affected by the virus then previously thought.
Apparently Italy is having way more young people hospitalized by this virus then was expected.

Guaranteed Nevada is next.

Yeah well that's all in the past...a different era of programming.

I enjoy those times where a man was allowed to gain strength, bravery, honour, confidence , leadership AND felt & trusted themselves.

Life ahead comes with unfathomable challenges so its time to man up.

Grow like the wind because said value of meds will be needed in order to settle into the the world after flu.

It's over for cash.

The economy gets reset and the only way back into society is to be vaccinated.

It's more than being vaccinated...it's a complete round up of everyone in the world.

Arghhhh..More ammo needed!

And then more of the MORON factor!

Bad news for me. The casinos and bars are down, there are barely any basic essentials, and I hope my nearby dispensary isnt next.
As a former Casino Executive.....I will have to say that it was a good move closing casinos. They are all petri dish places to be avoided, even in normal times. Imagine how many people touch that cash, cheques (chips), slots etc! BAD NEWS in spades.
I believe that the dispensarys will remain open as long as they have product and employees to sell it.

They've already responsibly taken precautions to keep from needing to shutdown. Only ten customers at a time and they must be 3 ft. away at all times. But too many buttons being touched at a casino. We dont want that.
