They were still gathering in big groups in parks and malls but not now. You can still go out and get groceries, gas, pharmacies....Nothing different that we werent doing before the order was put in place.

Yeah grocery stores, pharmacies, food banks and hospitals all open still. Check on kin folk, loved ones.

I can't say definitely for sure, but it does seem that way. Foreign travelers usually arrive at the larger airports so your observation makes sense.

My wife and I were actually talking about this very topic earlier this morning. Add Mardi Gras to that list.

It may have arrived on an international flight but any travel can spread this now.

Business does go on ... my company has essential and non-essential workers. Non essential have been laid off. Essential, like me, must keep going on ... however it's a stretch to say MY work is essential. I build industrial automation/machines/robots whatever is on the print. I'm not involved in the production of the products these machines make. However because we were named as an essential contractor ... I have to work.

Starting Monday, they are supposed to use a thermal thermometer to take our temperatures at the door. There's a whole new list of procedures and ppe due to a county-wide order.
