Yeah, the US is roughly at late Soviet-era corruption levels and getting worse. It's not the right/left bickering that matters, that's just a demonstrative smokescreen for bipartisan corruption.

punk ass city I live in limits fence height to 6 feet and any plants that can be seen are super illegal

and my neighborhood is super hilly so everyone can see in everyone else's yard.
I was pissed to find out i couldn't grow anything outside here.

I am really close to the talking the wife into letting me build a small greenhouse.

Now its the commercial growing interest screwing us. Plant counts and regulations are to keep us from selling.
