I use FoxFarm productsbecause i don’t have a ef’n clue what i’m doing. I only grow a dozen plants each summer and it seems anytime i add anything but perlite to FF it screws the plant up.

Where I live ffof is $35-40 for 3cu/ft. Where the hell do they sell it for $1000? Do you live overseas or what?

Had a fairly new hydro store here that had fresh large sized bags of ffof for $18 and change, but of course it's closed now :/

Nearly twice that price delivered by Amazon

Ive used FFHF and FFOF for 2 decades.
Ive never paid over 14 bucks a bag for it either though. But i always go in with a couple people and buy a pallet and its even cheaper.
I use 9 bags per grow too.

I use coco loco for easy. I add ammendments 2-3 times each grow. Cost of soil and amendments $22 to grow 10-12 oz. I'm not changing.

Coco loco isn't pure coco. It's like ocean forest except coco instead of peat base. I water about every 3 days. They stay in 1 gal bags for 4 weeks with no food added. Then they are transplanted to 3gal bags. After 7-10 days in the 3gal i flip the lights. Then I wait until they start to flower and then I add dry amendments. 3 weeks later i add amendments again. Depending on strain that might be the last feed. 10-12oz in 4 months using 2-150w HPS in a 2x4.

So indoors, some epsom salts and bone meal?

SOIL FOR LIFE!!! 😆😂 never did hydro, but love my ffof and fab pots... fox farm is my Go-To tho....food included.. it's just funny now after 5 years of growing and discreet ordering on Amazon...first timers think they got it solved🤓 all love, just gotta keep my personal perspective. I'm a motherfuckin' FoxFarm enthusiast.

Have you tried the happy frog dry amendments or just the bottles? I use the 5-8-4with good results. The best part is no mixing nutes. Easy is good.

I hope the first timer comment wasn't directed at me.I was growing pot before you were sperm. I've grown mostly in Promix but found the stuff I used a couple years ago, I didn't think about it much one way or the other. Then I went back to Promix from habit and I had more problems with it than with the VPW30. Now I use that. I see so much talk about using FFOF and seeing the price it just shocks me people will pay that price fore dirt.

My $30 is Cdn that = $20 Usa so I get 20-25 grows in 3 gal pots. How much would FFOF cost for 20-25 grows? I figure it to be close to $1000.00 Cdn.

That's a great deal for big time growers-if they can get it. For me $40 per year easy grows are worth it.

Ill try to answer, i could be way off but i started out using it for this reason as it was explained to me back then and i still use the FF coco loco for seedlings: FFOF has nutes in it already and should get you through Veg depending on how long you Veg. FFSF (Strawberry Fields) has nutes in it to get you through flower (Supposedly). So my understanding is that the whole grow if you use FFOF & FFSF you should not need to add anything except water. So if your in a 3 gal or 5 gal its not realy too bad price wise as you just buy water. Now i think they have a bag for growing from seed through flower too.

Do you need to add any nutes or other amendment's to yours?

Nah I get 9 to 12 three gallon pots with one bag of ffof depending how much perlite I add,, so if my hydro store ever opens it would be two large bags at just under 19 bucks each so 38 bucks USD, don't know the current exchange rate
