You pretty much have to know someone at that point. Or pay an arm and a leg for genetics that may be iffy. Sick plants, pests, etc. reliable source is def needed for a good cut.

Growers choice seeds...im in the middle of my first grow and all the seeds popped. This is a sour kush auto. Pay with money order and you get 3 free seeds. I was skeptical to pay money order but it's legit. I'm buying more this week

Are you thinking about regular seeds , feminized seeds or auto flower ?
Do you have a particular strain you're interested in ?

it’s difficult to get good seeds, I mean trusted breeders who have a point don't make bingo in seed business. Breeders who make stable strains, what will not hermi and pollinate all your crop. Now is all about money and how to get more money. Not many of them even go to F2, some even breed with feminise seeds))).
At final line from 10 females, you will get 10 phenotypes.

I just got a 4x8 tent too this week. Same boat as you...lights,fans,contraptions, timers...ah hell. Ordered 2 Bestva 1000 watt LED lights off amazon same day. They were on sale...it was an impulse buy day. Good luck and happy growing

if you have regular seeds from good breeder, and if you take clones from each plant, you for sure will have a keeper what will supply you for good time with a good smoke))).
mother(keeper) plant from regular seeds will not hermi, due some cataclysms with light cycles or notes or something else, if the seeds are good.
mother(keeper) from feminise seeds will have tendency to hermi with time.

Somehow I get the vibe that you like to do things the intelligent way , as it seems like you've been
Researching and asking questions with the same joy and passion that we all have for the plant , it's exciting to see a new grower set up and experience their first grow , and for that person to share the journey is an honor to all of us who are passionate about growing

I think , as I have 30 years grow experience under my belt , I think that " regular " seed grows are the absolute best for beginners , for that matter , it's all I grow even after 30 years , this way you will not take shortcuts , short cuts meaning , let's say auto flower , they " automatically " flower whether you do your job or not , or " feminized" seed , which is something that is kind of unnatural , a trick made for marketing and convenient growing ......

Regular seeds are a bit more work , but the strength you gain in learning is invaluable as a beginning grower , you learn to identify the sex of your plants , you learn how to control light cycles to produce bud , you learn how to collect pollen and make your own seeds if you want , no more paying for seeds .....ever , so eventually you can even get to that level , you can easily find 3 or 4 females in your seed package , you will learn how to observe and identity " pheno types"
You will learn a lot

Buying "femminized" seed will guarantee you a female that was created by a particular breeder , but understand this doesn't make it better than a regular seed ......

I have to disagree with this post. Just my opinion. Not all breeders are dirty pollen chuckers. My plants were stressed to the max, now look at em.

Yes , of course you will get female seeds from a pack of regulars , about 1/3 female , you won't get " femminized" seeds , but you will get natural females .....
