Gorilla Glue Auto, outdoor, day 85 from seed. Starting to produce a lot of frost. šŸ˜Ž

I see so many folks growing without any training. Is there a reason why?

Or maybe I should say, it looks like no training....maybe I’m doing my LST wrong?

I don’t know why I don’t ? Honestly I just bend top so bottom branches can catch up , I like the space to water, I like to move my plants , some take it some don’t

Do you notice a difference in yields when you do it? Or is it pretty much a wash? My next grow I may just let them all go without any training....I’m doing LST again and a mainline right now.

I limit all my plants on space, so yield is a 2-3 zip expectancy so I don’t really know , I’m all about low maintenance

Hey farmers. Just thought I’d post pics of my first grow underway. The autoflowers are doing good I think. Besides damn leafhoppers. Hoping the buds fatten right up over next few weeks. Happy growing.

Purple Kush day 56 outdoors done 3 ways, 1- natural untouched in 7 gallon soft pot, 1 Fim with LST, this one repsonded really well in less then a day pointing straight up by dark and the last one topped with LST the last 2 are in beds. Not sure if I will top or fim again, lost growing time in the size.
But going to start training and opening the 1st one tomorrow, its driving me crazy.

Picture #2 4 weeks old
Auto Lambs Breath.
70% 420 mix from Terra 30% pro mix veg and herb soil
First 3 weeks under a 40$ cob led light from Home Depot
Last week just outside in the sun all day and will remain under good old sunshine till they are ready for harvest. Cloth pots for the first time. Just started fertilizing this week. They are happy girls.

Pic 2 feminized white widow in week 6 of flower. I have 4 of them, each just as happy.

My girlfriend and I smoke about an oz a month.
I figure I should have way more than I need for an entire year by the time my autos are harvested and cured.
Oh no. Gonna have to start smoking more and cooking too.

So impressed by how you can achieve excellent results with a minimum of capital investment.
Happy growing everyone.

Reasons I grow Autos:
Ease of operation - I'm able clean grow room, feed, train and enjoy at any time, 24/7. Door to my grow room is never closed.
No problems - No hermies, males, nute burn, nute deficiencies, pH, ppm, tds related problems.
Yield - I only get 6-8 ounces per plant, but I can live with that.
Potency - The Indicas I grow produce a slight hallucinogenic, paralytic, couch lock effect leading to deep, restful sleep.
Ist pic current grow. Auto BlueBerry Domina, 50 days from sprout. Other pics, last year grows.
Disclaimer : I'm 72 and like to K.I.S.S.
Beasts.

Auto or period? All are good but some are better that others.

I love both and purpose matters.

With a shorter grow period with Auto’s from start to finish +- 60 days, that reduces the chances of pest destroying crops, that’s a real plus.

But a neg is no real cloning can be done due to potency loss of second generation.

With either, Auto or Period, techniques differ but remember, growing is fun and a lifetime hobby.

Keep it simple to reduce grower’s fatigue. Keep in mind it’s a weed, weeds can take care of themselves... with a little help from their friends they can really increase in quality and compound the pleasures...
Amen.

First grow. made Mistakes. Two plants in one pot. No nutes planned thinking I’d have enough in the soil. Had to lst to keep plants apart. One pheno grew much faster and started feeding on itself early in flowering. I’ve been throwing available organics blind because the instructions seem to be for house plants or something. This is a gorilla glue that I’m growing outside in 7 to 8 hours of direct sunlight. Learned a lot. Learned I’m impatient. Lol and a nervous grower until I get experience. Day 60. 33 days into flower. I figure I have 4 more weeks.
