Starting to flower, but lots of yellowing... pretty sure they're root bound. Just top dressed with an inch of worm castings, and feed them a solution of chicken poop 5 3 4, and flower food 0 8 5, with some Epsom salt and a wee bit of vinegar every day.

Lol, yeah, semi. Started in great soil, but they look hungry hence the feeding.

So, i just did a thing. Have 3 marihuanas in 5 gal cloth bags that need water everyday (Inch of perlite in the bottom, dohhh) and i won’t be around for a week. Dug a trench in real slow perc sandy soil, put the bags in and topped with bucket mix from a couple males i pulled. Two with early buds and the third a weirded out reveg. The tall ones in back have been okay, if a little stretched for a couple months, basically the same soil. No other choice.

Very nice NorCal plants budbogart. Wish I had that sun and open exposure. But even northern Massachusetts can produce some tall mamas (8-9 ft). My Critical, Skunk XL and G13 Haze are crankin and in early flower. Had to put my stake extensions on. Happy growing!

Well when I grow my strain I made jelly dream outdoors next yr I'm definitely getting it tested. Knocks me on my ass...but its uplifting at the same time!

Wow there are some really nice grows going on here. I am very impressed and somewhat motivated to grow my girls with most of the info laid out on this forum. Hats off guys and Cannabis gurus. I am hoping I am the next gen organic grower but still have more to learn so keep posting : ) I felt compelled to show my girls and update. Seeing some of these monsters, it kinda makes mine look kinda small lol. I am in southern Ontario and think my first outdoor grow is going rather smooth. Kinda scares me a bit : ) Here are some pics... I went big....as much as my prescription allows lol. 64 plants. Hash Plant, Green Crack, Northern Lights and I think crown royale... cant remember lol. All organic with bennie teas. I make my teas in 200 liter drum and aerate. Worm castings in pillow case, Organic nutes in sock, Nematodes, 164ppm well water, and some molasses. My barrels always foam over in 24 hours so I know when it is best to use. Nothing but positive vibes for organic and I spend way less than syn nutes. Costs are around $62 per watering for 64 plants. About $1 per plant per watering. I cannot complain about that. Next year I will run my wifes prescription also and have about 120 girls. Should be a challenge but will replicate what I am doing now.

Don't be scared. Looks beautiful! Trust yourself; trust the girls.

It's best not to ruin peoples self confidence by plastering out pics my 20 foot autos and my 24 pounds per plant of the photoperiodic ones... So I'll wait a while maybe until the chainsaw chop, it's quite a happening here with roadblocks because of the falling "trees". Last year a flying branch hit a neighbor and he was hospitalized with a severe concusion for a month, made his day when he was allowed to keep the branch, as he said; "Now I dont have to worry about what to smoke for a year, thanks Straits". Ok here's a pic

roadblocks? chainsaws? branches that cause concussions? huh??

Don't get me wrong, we have alot of respect for your farm and your father, and for the rest of your family of course.
He taught you, and you will teach your children, ad infinitum. Not everyone inherits from blood family, but everyone deserves to inherit knowledge.

IMO, the most important info in the article link @Greatlakes posted is the discussion of developing the soil ecosystem in beds year after year. cultivating beds is not just about developing wonderful soils, but also about having the space for roots to grow as far as possible. also, with heat like this in Southwest Oregon lately, they can access water that i'm continually impressed they can get at.

i have a background in indoor and non-growing parts of weed world, please know i'm fairly new to learning about outdoor and organics. i'm learning from someone with decades of experience--perhaps that's why i think sharing information is so important. that plus seeing the current explosion in access to knowledge, strains, and help from others, having overgrown the very tightly held info, guidance, and strains in the 1980s and 1990s make me a huge supporter of sharing information for free.

Appreciate their humility, they are in a sweetspot. Interesting they “”top” the colas for multi-harvest.

I do multiple harvests as well. Way better yields that way

we also do multiple harvests--at least two. it's a race against mold. when it comes to taking a third harvest, my grow partner and i disagree about the return on investment. but numbers don't lie and the labor costs of getting all the buds, even the smalls, are VERY much worth it. at present, if i want a third wave, i have to do it myself. not complaining. :)

they are in a sweet spot-- and weather is the bane, and the joy, of outdoor growing.
