Yeah i mean I keep flipping back and forth the trichs starting to come out nicely on the bft. At least I will have mothers of both. I can wait to smoke em. An early bid off the hbcm. Teated by my neighbor was shifty tast and burnt like shit but when he popped by after he dmsaid got him high as fuck and he looked like he was maced lol. The bud was clipped about 3 days and was still wet so the taste was to be expected and with it being wet no wonder he said it burnt like shit. But he said the high was tremendous. I wanted an objective view. After flush, dry and cure it should be smooth and have a much mich better flavor lol. Prob won't need a blow torch to smoke it either lmao. He said out of the bong it was quite a bit better. I dont usually cut buds off 2 weeks plus before harvest but I couldn't resist.

I should add it smells great though.

blunt force trauma seems like it's gonna go forever still almost all white pistils but chunking up. I think the Hyper blue cherry magoo is gonna finish right on 10 weeks.

Hey Aqua , great looking bud , sativa influence , not lanky or fluff like some sativas can be....
75 day finish , greasy looking , but she smells amazing slightly sweet , hazy maybe a bit of fruit ?
Bet the high is light and energetic .....
Guess you will give us a flavor and smoke report ......my kind of bud , nice work !

Wow , I just checked out the lineage on seed finder ,looks like yours picked up some haze and blueberry by the looks of her , but seems like the genetic makeup is stacked with kush and chem also ....

Thats some I'm not well versed in at all. I'm a simpleton on that subject. I grow and pick a mother that I like. I should probably start exploring a bit more into breeding to learn about it. Not doo it but atleast get an idea of it.

Normally when a bud I like catches my eye , I do one of those terminator digital scanning eyeballs and start to dissect the look of the bud and see how close I can come to figuring out its makeup
I immediately saw a blueberry / haze like blue dream profile in your bft pic .....
She's got that hazy / berry type profile that catches my eye , of course I'm not there so it's hard to imagine the final dry product , but looking really nice at this point ......

Thank for the information and I'm looking forward to testing it. Kimda gave me a bit of a boost towards that plant. Honestly the worst part is waiting to test... its like a roller coaster... excited for this one... no that one... wait a min... hahaha. Guess I just have to wait but its nice to get some information from others experienced in breeding and phenos so I appreciate that.

also I feel like I shit the bed and cut calcium to late and was using to much from mid flower on.

Why do you cut calcium in mid-flower? Is it to prevent harshness in the smoke or some other reason? Also, if you were using straight RO water, would you still cut it out entirely?

Nitrient ratios. When I go to bloom ratios I generally reduce the calcium and cut it 2 weeks before harvest altogether. In hydro I just drop my ppm below 300 in soil I'm flushing.

In terms of calcium and RO it would depend on my base nutrients. If not designed for it or like my Megacrop version 1 low in calcium then I add 50-100ppm.

Ok pulled the HBCM out of the room and into another for 48 hrs of dark then cut. Gonna be a pita drying as they will have to dry in 65-68f with low RH of about 40%. Not ideal but the BFT still has time left on it and thats priority.
