Well guys, not sure if anyone remembers me asking about these egg sacks pictured here,
IMG 20200725 154902

After almost two months of researching I've finally figured out what these eggs are and boy do I feel stupid 😅, they're lacewing eggs! I've been killing the wonderful lacewings babies all this time and I feel horrible about it! Thankfully the lacewings are still laying eggs so I've started to just leave them on my plants to hatch. Just wanted to share this just in case other growers find these egg sacks on their plants!

I just got one, can't get it to work 😕

I got two of the cheapie jewelers loupes from amazon myself.....they are TOUGH to get good with. You can barely breathe or you'll lose the place you're looking.....but with some practice they do work great (providing the light works---don't get one without a light !).

I had so many plants this first grow I actually got this pocket microscope to use instead, as I found it easier to work with. I have to admit that these devices are really small....they just take practice, but after a half dozen 'sessions' it gets much easier to see the trichomes. You'll develop an auto-pilot with understanding which direction to aim the device for best view.

EDIT: wanted to add that even with this one, the 60x is MUCH easier to view with than the 120x and it's perfectly adequate and a steal at this price. Good luck you guys.

This is my 3rd garden this year, but my first outdoor grow! I have cherry pie, purple kush and lemon haze, and I must say, the extra work growing outside is turning out to be really rewarding! I got lucky with 100% females! I'm hoping they'll be ready by the end of September, cheers Growmies!

I have always used these and been very pleased with them.
I was looking at these the other day you should look for the android/iPhone version can hook it up to your phone and take pictures. Products are more expensive in Canada and those loupes are like 15-20 bucks. When in the us it's half that price.

All sun grown all organic all year round no exceptions sun grown is better amd far superior to indoolr when it comes to resin producion and terpenes IMO!! Some people mayyyyyy not feel the same way... but we all get an opinion thays just mine!!!! I even wash every bud that come down Id rather not smoke bug shit 🕷🐛🐌🐞🐞🐞 and dirt doesnt effect my terps or tricombs .. yes indoor u can control the environment and all that shit and they get the ac in the summer butttttt lets compare terps And tans!!!! #terpsandtans

This is very true. My plants are just producing the the terpenes and resin but at different rates and very noticeable. How the Bubba Kush isn't so resinous but full of Terps and the Blue dream is full of sticky resin that it glues your fingers together but not so much on the terpenes beside a subtle sweet smell. I can't wait till they explode with Terps and resin. 👌
