Everyone remembers the CO2 producing Exhale bags........... these last for 6 months, so they are about 4 months old. Not sure what they are producing at this point but I wanted to show the substantial mycelium growth....... I've grown a lot of mushrooms over the years and would have died for mycelium growth like this!

I've actually lowered my pH from 6.2-6.3 to 6.0 for this crop. Premier, the maker of Pro-Mix, recommends 5.5-6.0 pH and I've always run it between 6.2-6.4. Running the pH slightly higher reduces the availability of micro-nutrients in the long run. But, I never made the change because things were turning out so well. I thought this would be a good crop to lower it as an experiment. The last few weeks I'll raise it slightly, as it helps reduce plants uptake of N but otherwise, I'll keep a close eye on the leaves and make adjustments as necessary.

I want to compare the room under the LED's vs. the room under the HPS, both around 4 weeks in veg. Look a few spots above at post #284, day 27 in veg under the LED's. Now compare that to the pic below- day 26 under the HPS's grown in 2017. Quite a difference!

Few more plants under the HPS but you can 100% see the node spacing difference.

No doubt......... In the previous grow on RIU, I purposely looked for a picture around 1 month into flowering and found a great example. There is substantial growth in flowering, at least under the HPS. I'm just taking it day by day, I wouldn't even be opposed to go to 6 weeks in veg, just to get larger plants at this stage. The plants are very healthy, the room is running at about 80 degrees but I'll take it to 82 degrees when flowering starts. The single lone Turkish Cookies, is about 2 inches high and doing well. If I can get a 1/2 oz off her in the end, I'll be a happy guy. I just want to try the damn strain once.

I've been reading all the manuals for the Master Controller and adapters, and think I'm ready to give it a go. The adapters do not sit well on top of the lights so I'll be attaching them to a wall some way. More to come on this...........

12 more plants actually, but the height difference is probably 6 inches in some of the plants. I feel this is going to be an amazing grow towards the end, as these plants put off much larger buds than the Orange Gasm. The center cola's were quite large, these should get crazy big. God knows they'll have the root system for it. LOL

I noticed her too......... I'm wondering if she got damaged early in vegged and bushed herself out- she's different than the rest for sure.

I foresee a canopy of sawed off baseball bats. I should have been a fortune teller lol.

I just did a major watering and fertilization, as the plants are looking a little "light green" to me........ I haven't been above 500 ppm so far in 29 days and I think the plants really needed a deep watering and high dose fertilization. I also added 4 tablespoons of Epsom Salts (for the Mg) which drove the ppm up to 750 ppm in about 20 gallons of H2O. And I went with a 5.8 pH instead of 6.0- I decided to take the average (5.5 to 6.0) instead of staying on the outside number (6.0) of Premier's recommendation.

Sounds like they will see some explosive growth in the next few days.

Yup.......I like to move slow. Problem was, I was moving too slowly. I'm going to start getting more aggressive with them moving forward. I remember in the last thread mentioning they liked a lot of Cal/Mag but don't remember at what dosage I was fertilizing. I'm going back to RIU and reread the thread and see what I can find.

And if any of you ever wonder why I provide a lot of detail- here is the perfect example. I went back, in 30 seconds found the info in the 30 day veg post:

"MEDIUM fertilizer level. I've bumped up the cal/mag a bit after spotting some crinkling of the sun leaves- getting better already. And added more N to green up the plants a bit more."
