I'm a center left but won't be voting that way next Canada election. The left just to far out for me now. So least of the evils it will be.
I made a promise to myself, I'm fuking done with voting until I'm given valid candidates. I refuse to vote for the lesser of 2 evils, which is every goddammed election. Every time I vote, I draw another box on the ballot, scribble "anyone else?", and check that.

I'd seriously rather vote for the great spaghetti monster than a career politician... 🤣

But man...ugh, this lefty Canadian media is getting hard to watch. The last half hr was interviewing the author of ""Hiding in plain sight" Talking about how the T administration is a crime syndicate lol...

Weeeellll.. technically I did start in soil. I grew in organic dirt with earth juice and other fertilizers for a couple years before I moved to BC and learned about promix lol.. Used that for about 18 years or so with worm castings and gaia green along with several nutrient lines. I only first started playing with rockwool recently, then coco and now back to promix (proterra). The biggest difference this grow is using an organic liquid fert with more insoluble nutrients instead of all chem chelated.

Thinking about it today, the biggest reason I went back to proterra is really because its cheap enough to let me use bigger pots so I can stake and tie again. I started to absolutely LOATHE that unwieldy plastic trellis netting. Hate that shit with a passion.

Eh, essentially all media is just there to distract people from the fact that the people that have made the rules are exploiting all of us daily.

The ever-urgent ads, urging people to buy the latest performance water polo socks in order to keep up with the neighbors, while others starve in the streets. That's not a bug in the system either, it's a feature. Homeless people are the heads mounted on spikes outside the marauding camp of the robber barons, in place to keep us afraid of questioning the capitalist paradigm.

Racism in the US media started in Virginia in 1691 when exploited labor started organizing against the ruling class. Both left and right media ecosystems are designed to stoke confirmation bias, distract by sheer volume of information, and distract from really shady shit that the government is doing.

The US government has always been a crime syndicate. That's not news. 😄

Boy I'm not much of a sports fan but I'm on the edge of my seat here watching this election. Might have to crack a beer and make some pizza, make a night out of it 🤣

Is it wrong to enjoy watching the world burn?
I’m personally struggling with it. I mean, if the world is to burn collectively, at least pass the community bong.

<——-Anxious, seriously.

Agreed. Shady fuckers the lot of 'em. Why i no longer vote. Voting just gives people the illusion they have some kind of choice in the matter, like they can make a difference lol. ppffffft 😅

Voting is one of the biggest scams the American people have bought into. Lots of noise sent out into the ether about how IMPORTANT it is to vote, but very little on what measures were taken to ensure that the votes are counted and reported legitimately and that the totals haven't been electronically altered somehow. Blockchain technology is the perfect application for this and has existed for over a decade, but they keep the results and their counting opaque.

But yeah, that's exactly the problem. Liberals (not leftists) legitimately think that they know what's best for everyone else, and their media ecosystem reinforces it. They're like the leftist equivalent of Mormon missionaries. There's more common ground between leftists and non-evangelical conservatives than most people think. And liberals hate leftists more than they hate republicans.

Liberals look to government to save them from corrupt corporations, conservatives look to corporations to save them from corrupt government. It's a false duality the corporate/government conglomerate uses to control the narrative, like most mainstream American thought. I won't even get started about how charities are just a public circlejerk for rich people and their friends...

I'm just always mindful that everyone and everything will die someday. One day the
sun will Nova and the earth will be toast...
I'm here for a good time, not a long time. Just a transient spectator. Keeps things in perspective.

Sorry if that made it worse lol..

Nah, I get that. I just don’t want to die or my son to die at the hands of violence.

Edited to add: And there is a lot of really unsettling shit that feels imminently life threatening.
