At this point I'm on track to have an aquaponic garden lit up by February 🤣

I do like to experiment lol. Trying different methods is both fun and rewarding. And honestly I think makes me a more well rounded grower by doing so. Gives you a different perspective with every new grow.

Lol, rockwool Hugo's. That was the grow cycle after proterra and before going with coco.

I'm quite interested in the idea of building a small aquaponics setup in a 4x4 tent at some point down the road. Not now or even anytime soon. Hearing the way Steve Dale talks about it, the way his face lights up when he talks about the flavour of pot you can achieve with it..., that says a lot to me. It really was a bit of an epiphany moment that pushed me back in the direction of organic fertilizers that are not chemically chelated and feeding on the lighter side, with a heavy influence from/and dependence on the microbiology.

Maybe thats why people talk so highly about the fish shit product increasing flavor. When i first started up my grow again my main goal was growing the best smoking and tasting bud thats why i wanted to start using EJ.

When you use it are you aerating the mixture before feeding? I noticed if i would just mix it straight up the ph would be low but if i would let it mix for 24-48 the ph leveled out a bit. My laziness caused me to mix it and go, and not ph since i read someone saying you dont have to. Ultimately that led me to giving up on it for that cycle and going with megacrop 1 part for now.

Yeah I'll balance the ph for sure.. I'll add potassium silicate first and then the EJ and bubble overnight, I'll play around until I know how much silica I need to add to hit 6.5ph after 24hrs on the brew.

The worm castings can lower ph in the soil too so I don't want to compound that issue with acidic nutrient solution. Best to go in on target off the bat.

Aquaponics only for veg right? I read it doesnt flower well. Or do you know something?....???
