I think if you're going to let it sit for a couple days it should be aerated. And not letting it sit aerating leaves you with the issue of super low PH.

What a time to discover my air pump bit the dust..lol. Right after mixing up the juice.. I guess I'll just recirculate like this until I can borrow one in a few hrs. View attachment 1052502

Flume it... if you have a water pump just put it in so it pointed at the surface. Its very effective for aeration.

Yup and that folks is bacterial respiration. They are likely dead now as under 4-4.5 usually indicates a PH crash. That also will lower the PH

Probably because the nutrients have already been processed into an ionic form the same as with pbp. Nutrients that are unprocessed won't have an ionic charge.

I don't know about lots of ammonia. They say its because of phyto acids and amino acids and natural extracts, whatever that means.
They specifically say that you dont need to buffer it actually..

Hmmm so these bacteria are definitely in the acid range. I forget the name but I belive they do well from 3-6ph

This is not the microbes lol this is the makeup of the nutrients. They are acidic...... im not sure wtf I was thinking but for some reason I was thinking this was a microbe tea

Nope... its actually a compost extract..... I think thats the right terminology.

Yeah way too fast.. That pic of the ph at 3.5 was taken about 1 min after mixing the nutrients lol.

That makes no sense the ingredients are crab meal and guano and oyster shell and such.
