Sparingly. That stuff is N hot hot hot.

Yeah that stuff is really hot, especially if not composted properly and balanced with lots of carbon. After cleaning my coop, my compost would be steaming like crazy the very next morning. Everything in the pile would be digested much faster. I had a friend ask about the citrus peels he saw in my pile, because he had heard they take a while to break down, and I pulled out an antler that was already half disintegrated.

how can these breeders have so many strains and have any kind of breeding done?

Takes a good year at least to properly work a strain.

The landrace hype is huge with this one. You are far to far into your rabbit hole my friend.
Yeah I'm not really interested in the crosses swami made so much as the stuff he used to make them.

Knowing that they exist.

And also the philosophy of what gets crossed.

honestly i dont trust that most of these old strains with the year attached to the name are legit.

No one preserves 40 strains like these instagram breeders claim.
Fair. I have no idea about this person at all.

@Terpz719 has mentioned the breeder and hence I saw this.

In the next twelve months I will be spinning my own selection tales anyway 🙂🙂🙂

I probably have enough to keep me busy indefinitely really.

But my brain loves mapping the world to its satisfaction and then moving on.....and this topic has lots of fun.

i mean for a company with space and resources specializing in breeding for seed production.
What do you think is the best IBL, worked strain? Or some that have jump out to you.

Like very few strains are actually grown deliberately down the line DJ Short style, right?

Im in the same place as you. I dont know which newer breeders to try. I chose HSC and will soon be growing a bunch of 4 of their strains. Still going to stagger a different seed Every week or two.

If i needed seeds i would still try mr. nice and motarebel to smoke the original strains that made all the ch9 i liked.

i can only grow so many. I like them pretty mature with the 12 plant count i am on now.

Why ibl @Milson ?

i dont think i have grown any true ibl strains.

sannie herijuana is back crossed a lot but the original is not. For example.

none of the seeds i got from hsc are ibl either.

i dont think i have grown any true ibl strains.

I think that's my point. Very few are really doing the massive numbers game. It's mostly finding a "good" male, hitting and hoping with nice females while hoping for hybrid vigor, maybe doing a back cross or two to "stabilize..."

Maybe going to F3 for some good breeders. But I'm skeptical how much they are maxing out their F2s. And i think it's finding that great, close to max F2 male that would really make the genius breeder (where "maxed out" is getting the "ideal" gene combo for....a few or more traits. Since they are all possible at F2).

Maybe. Just saying i think for very good reasons it's quite rare.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm

Damn I'm high. Durban Poison? That had some skunk crossed in early? Or no?

I have no idea with sour diesel or how set that even is.
