I think that’s true if you’re trying to grow for seedless flowers.

But... I’ve found that not all herm seeds grow herms and sometimes they are funky. If you’re like me and you’re always looking for new terps or old lost terps, then crack them and look out for nanners.

The police use to fly over our crops with shit males and spread the pollen to try n make our bush yubbie seedy shit on of my crops got hit and I tried a seed for a plant and wow shit male was a king made my weed 5 times better next grow ..... that was in Nimbin 1979

The #4 sherbet plant had a branch directly on the dehum exaust and I think the really hot air caused it to herm it was at the exact spot (totally my fault). But I consider that a failed "accidental stress test" right? so #4 is out of contention imo. She's been the runt the whole time, took like 5 days longer to clone than her sisters too. I went through every other plant and found nothing. Will pull everything out again thurs and double check.

Unfortunately, the hemp seed pollen grown around here will ruin the crop and the seeds will be garbage.

Real shit tho. Like “S1” if I’m selling that plant and stressing it, that’s herming. But how long does it take to stabilize a genetic?

I would love to get in on this project! I'm newer to the hobby and just found this forum. There are a ton of knowledgeable people on here... after reading some of their posts I now know what my friends must feel like when I'm explaining the basics of growing to them 🤣
So far I've been creeping on @Milson @Aqua Man and @beluga All good stuff!
I read somewhere that if you take colloidal silver and spray the nods of branches on a female plant from the beginning of the switch she will produce sacs and give you 100% female non-herm pollen? Does anyone have experience with this technique? If so what kind of results did you see?
I had wanted to try this with the 2 I have just started they are white widow fem autos. My dad just got into the hobby and grew a couple of very tall plants outdoors this past season. Needless to say he was panic stricken by the height and mass of these things. He had anticipated, for whatever reason, a height of 3 or 4 feet not 6 or 7. So my intent was to produce some auto seeds for him so maybe he can get 2 grows in next year and not have to worry about the neighborhood watch seeing his garden.

This thread sounds fun and under normal circumstances I would be down to participate however I already have a BAD ASS breeding schedule lined up for this upcoming season. I just don't think I will have the space with all the other awesome strains I will be running.

Also I had an idea. Since this group grow is gonna be more of a "Pheno Hunt" maybe you can encourage everyone to save cuts of the mothers. Everyone shows pictures of their top female and then all those who participate get to vote on who found the hottest pheno. Then once the votes are counted the winner has bragging rights then they can send clones of that mom to everyone who participated in the project. This will make it so everyone gets a piece of the gold at the end. Just a thought I didn't read every page of this thread maybe someone already recommended this. Best of luck!

Can I join your gang from Europe ?
It would make it an international breeding club...
Have some pollenizing experience but not beyond F3 with regulars.
And different F1's feminized.
Only do outside grow so only 1 cross a year, but can try spring harvest as well.
